Lopetegui (sacked 8.1.2025)

I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

But from what I've just seen today, this cսnt is David Moyes in a mission impossible mask

It really is a shame we have no ITK posters on here. Maybe it would be a good idea not to call people like Tim Steidten names in such a direct manner?

All signs are he's gone. Not sure we have the squad to achieve the way Potter plays any more than Lopetegui. Be interesting.
He speaks English, that’s a start! We can’t do any worse.

can we?

Interpreting that picture, looks like Steidten trying to sell something, and Potter 'leaning back' trying to distance himself from the big German sheister.

More twists and turns to come in the WHU Management Team 24/25 saga one suspects.

I can't get excited over Potter.

But I'm slightly more positive than I was over Lopetegui's appointment.

Strong speculation now. Looks like Potter is in. My mate told me just now that Everton have made contact with Potter over replacing Dyche so it looks like Sulli has had his hand forced.

I have also just been sent a photo of Tim and Potter in what appears to be a hotel having a meeting. It does not look AI generated. Looks genuine. He said its genuine and from today, hotel in London.

Update:
Update 1: I am aware that talksport are saying he has gone but I have checked with my sources at talksport and ithe source isn’t someone I know or can trust. I will wait for my own confirmation before saying and that will come from official sources. It does appear that his days are numbered….

I think Lopetegui might have done ok if he spoke English and could get his message over. It was all lost in translation.

Heard Everton have been sniffing around Potter so maybe that has caused us to make a decision now.

Sounds like TalkSport trying to be able to say 'we said it first'.

The merry go round of 'talking to alternatives' back in full flow. No doubt Sullivan wants to talk to Cooper. Brady has gone tits out for Potter. Steidten sounds like he's also dead man walking... apparently not been at the training ground for 2 weeks. Salthouse probably pushing some no mark too as a third candidate.

Latest from ExWHU was:
We can confirm that a meeting has taken place today to discuss the future of the manager going into game this weekend. There has yet to be a conclusive decision it seems on what his future is and I’m waiting further information from confirmed sources on the situation before I say for certain.

Looking like Potter replacing him. At least I can understand what the manager is saying now.
And more importantly, so can most of the team!

Not seen it on Sky Sports yet. Good  news if true. He’d get us relegated
