Anxiety/depression
"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?
"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"Willtell 8:38 Thu Jul 21 Perhaps you've genuinely forgotten, but you certainly indulged in a bout of score settling on this thread that took place over a few days last September. You can read your own posts here: http://www.westhamonline.net/forum_flat.php?9422392|n|1|30 No need to discuss this further. Just stay off the thread."

"Please deal with this via PM to the Site Admin or use the ""Contact"" option from the menu on the left. This thread has more important matters to discuss."
Re: Anxiety/depression
Westham67 3:08 Well I am mightily pissed off about being accused of doing something that like abuse depressed people and its a lie. I may have done that several years ago to one poster that had repeatedly abused me first but that was fully 5 years ago or more! Why am I being tarred as an abuser of depressed posters? It is really depressing to be accused of something I didn't do. I certainly never received a warning to stay off this thread. Can a mod show otherwise please?

Re: Anxiety/depression
"This may actually have been a cry for help from a ""real man"", a ""stiff upper lip"" type, unable to articulate his needs due to his conditioning picked up in his early years; the world is awash with such types and many of them suffer needlessly in silence. Whatever, changing the focus, the posts on this thread more recently seem, to me, to have a generally more positive feel, even if, to those affected, the steps they are taking seem unfeasibly ((c) Viz) slow."

Re: Anxiety/depression
"4 basic pillars of strong mental health. Loads of self help books or shrinks out there but there’s 4 key things anyone can control to help themselves. Nutrition: cut out the shit food and eat plenty of fruit and veg. 3 balanced meals a day. Exercise: walking, running, swimming, cycling. It don’t really matter - get off your arse and do something that gets your heart rate up. Sleep: find a good routine, stick to it. Same time out at night and up in the morning Meditation: not talking yoga or health retreats. Find something you like doing and make time in your day to do it regularly…reading, music. Something you like that relaxes you Good luck if your struggling - try and structured your days around those 4 basic elements and see if it helps"

"Bloody hell some sad and pathetic people on here having a pop at those just sharing experiences or giving advice, maybe think they are being edgy and clever some how, doubt they will see the low life they are making themselves look. Makes you ashamed that they also claim to support West Ham."
