Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Hi All. Many apologies I've been working on this PC issue constantly. I've managed to get into an old drive, albeit frightfully slow, and did an image recovery of sorts and found the quizzes I did for this week although one I had for next week has disappeared! Next stage is to back up everything I have found and then will try a windows reinstall from a USB. If that fails I will know it's the SSD and then buy a new SSD or a new PC as this one is 11 years old! This could take a few days at least,,,,,so, in the meantime I have posted above the rest of this weeks quizzes as I have no idea how long this temporary situation will hold. I'll hopefully post all the answers on Monday and fingers crossed be back up and running properly. If these are too difficult again I apologise and will have to rethink difficulty levels. What I am trying to avoid is everyone getting them all right!"

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
Sorry all. I've had no luck with booting pc. Nothing works in the troubleshoot so only possible option is to reinstall windows from somewhere but my hard drive isn't even being picked up so could be anything. Apologies could be days if not longer to sort this.
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Sorry all after a windows update my pc has had a blue screen of death named ""critical process died"" and I can't even boot without it crashing. So today's quiz will be delayed at the very least. Apologies."

"I have to report a zero and erm......... another zero for the bonus. So Mr. Zico, I do appreciate your efforts (I really do) but in all the while this quiz has been going I have managed to avoid drawing a blank and then I get two in one day!! Subject matter was good (although perhaps not for non OFAH geeks) but bar set a bit too high for me in this case. Thanks, and looking forward to your next challenges!"

Apologies that seemed a bit tough all. Going to help East out for the next couple of weeks so if anyone wants to suggest a subject I can do a quiz on at least everyone will get at least one familiar set of questions. Would help me out as well having a target subject or two. You can suggest here or whomail me.

"7. Got one surname parry, purely because I used to have a mate with that surname. Would have been 8 if you'd put Tony the singer. I knew that was angelino, but I was trying to picture a regular character and couldn't think of a tony"
