"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Ended up doing chubb, so overjoyed to see that bastard Mayfield sneak in when the ball was on the 1 yard line! Not the most exciting round of games this weekend."

See you can still get 13/2 on Baltimore winning the SB. Seems pretty good odds considering they look the best all round team. Have had some pennies on juju for 1st TD tonight. Would fancy the browns if they didnt have such an awful QB.

"It was lost on both sides of the line. The Saints let them run and drain the defence. And the O-line seem to believe their own hype though losing Peat was a factor and Armstead was sick, apparently."

"Atlanta has a good offence, losing Lattimore obviously was a big loss as he was shadowing Julio Jones. The real issue was Brees and the Oline, Atlanta had 7 sacks in their first 8 games COMBINED, and managed to sack old man Brees 6 times!"

"Bridgewater was steady, had a couple really good games. But the defence stepped up with him in, which they did not Sunday, at least at the same level."

"Bridgewater went 5-0 as the starter while Brees was injured with a sore thumb. heard reports of fans apparently chanting for Teddy to come in when they were getting smashed by the Falcons this weekend and Brees wasnt moving the ball, but that could have been falcons fans taking the piss"

All the good teams have now had their game where they did not show up. Poor show from the Saints on Sunday made for a pretty miserable weekend. (I have started watching Oilers highlights again as they are strangely doing well and I can hope for more joy during the international break) Always important to get some humility and then back on the horse. Looks a decent year and some good games to come.

Poor old Burnsie. I think he has finally realized how shit Goff is. Would explain why he has been MIA for 8 weeks.

"Amazing the number of injuries we have had all season, to key players too. Great game, we missed a game winning field goal cos our kicker was injured. Both Kittle and Sanders injured, our young wr's dropped some easy catches at key moments. So we are 8-1 and still have the #1 seed. Dome tough games coming, just hope Sanders is ok."

"Jimmy G still has a hell of a lot to learn and I dont have him anywhere near being top class as yet. Couple of awful fumbles by him with not protecting the ball, though he's not helped by us having a virtual 2nd string offense in half of the positions. Deserved win by the filth, have happily beaten up the reserves and clowney has been exceptional."

Fucked while we only have average Joe's to throw to. My missus would have caught the ball that was dropped for the interception.
