Spandex Sidney 10:54 Sun Dec 20 The advantage of the Fire Box over the stick is that it has an ethernet port so you can plug a network cable into it. Many problems with streaming especially anything in HD is due to WiFi which the stick only supports. Use powerline adaptors with any box and you won't have any connectivity issues. I've got 3 Raspberry Pi's at £35 each all connected with Powerline adaptors and have no problems with my Kodi set-up.

"I think all the Phoenix stuff is now in the add-on called Woody in the Phoenix folder. Haven't tried it for the football yet, though. The UK Live TV section seems to have disappeared, but the fist option does link to most of the channels. Ex-pats looking for their BBC One fix can also check out the UK Turk and Film On add-ons. While Genesis is down, we've been using 1Channel and that's been great."

"Cheers....don't think I've got Wookie installed as just looked up what it is.....some time of Add-On manager by the looks of it? I'm on 14.2 and works fine for movies, sports etc what's the benefit of Wookie?"

On the version of Wookie I am using at the moment it is in the bottom left hand of the screen... click it takes about 10 seconds or so... then just use red off bottom to completely shut down box.... like I said I had no real problems for about a year apart from the one time my kid paused a film she was watching and forgot about t... filled the cache up and froze the box (had to do factory reset)... so be careful pausing for long periods
