Anxiety/depression

"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?

"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"Fwiw have been communicating with a few posters off site and although we may not agree on certain things at least it’s not all played out on this thread For the life of me I can’t understand why people who are not suffering with anxiety or depression or have nothing positive to add, can’t restrain themselves from posting when people are asking for help There are loads of threads you can post on where you can comment or slag each other off until your heart’s content So on behalf of those who benefit from this thread please stay off, you really don’t need to be on here, it is not interfering with you at all. Thank you"

"Block 3:09 Thu Jun 16 Good to see you post. If you're chatting with Pents - verbal, like, let him know people do read what he posts and wish him well, even if that's all they can do; sometimes a word in a shell-like carries a little more weight."

"Zammo/Swiss Professional help is par... ...come to think of it you aren't worth a sensible answer. This thread is where we check our egos and site animosities at the door and stand for each other. If that doesnt resonate, fine. but kindly just stay away from the thread. Thanks in advance for your compliance."

"I'm well cheers for asking. I've logged in not wanting to, but a friend is I'm agony right now and these comments have done a lot of damage without them knowing. Some.might think it's dramatic, but you never know how the other person might take things, and its only right I come back here to call those out who are having an affect on a good friend."

"Right Swiss and zammo, I've had to login here because I've been speaking to penters who is struggling massively and uses this place as a sound board to vent, what he doesn't need is utter cunts like you two piping up and putting the foot in when a man's down. Have a fucking word with yourselves, if you don't like what's being said, don't click onto the thread. Pair of pricks"

"charley, seeing as this thread was in part started because of discovering good posters like Gavros & Eddie B had their issues there is no need to explain to an idiot poster like Swiss what it is here for. It's of no shock that the likes of him feel the need to have an opinion rather than just let the thread exist for those who need it at any time."

"If you don't have anxiety or depression why are you posting on this thread???? As far as help goes, posters are giving help via their own experiences if they are on a particular medicine and it helped them it doesn't mean they are prescribing it it would be up to people to go to their doctors and ask if it could be prescribed and if they felt it would help them"

Zammo 2:07 Wed Jun 15 I agree and professional help is needed and not some geezers on an internet forum. What makes people on here think they are educated or qualified enough to do this? It could cause more harm than good.

"Zammo appreciate your comments mate, but if you feel that way all you need to do is ignore this thread. The people on here do find it useful and I do know they strike up friendships and contact to help each other out and by some miracle are able to keep each other going. I don't have a clue of the success rate but they are all still on here battling away. As far as being abused and misused if you haven't contributed to the fund then it wouldn't be a problem and as I look after the fund there is no evidence of abuse and even if you were correct in your assumptions about certain posters, which I don't think you are, there are still loads of others who get a lot out of these threads. The reason people post on this particular thread is to help each other with their own experiences and I'm afraid your comments take away the positivity, without any evidence"

"Pentonville is hairy Spotter? Sorry if wrong but getting bored of people using this site as a pity platform. West Ham have some of the most loyal, passionate and generous supporters. This loyalty is being misused and abused. I will help anyone if they are willing to help themselves, it’s always the same faces pleading for help. The help they need won’t be found on an Internet forum. Addiction is awful but helping people that don’t want to be helped is crazy."
