If you are so so about Season 1 of Prison Break you will find the next few tough going! Definitely not as strong...

"Watched the first episode of Wayward Pines with Matt Dillon last night. Massive Twin Peaks wannabe. Could be quite good, as long as they don't drag it on too long and get too silly, like Lost."

Yanto - so I deduce from your reply that they don't get out by end of season 1. Great.... thanks for that! ;-( I sort of hoped they would get out and then season 2 would be all about trying to prove the brothers innocence. Not sure I can hack another season of failed escape attempts. Will see out Season 1 and see if i can be arsed with 2

Davenport 12:53 Wed Apr 29 Would explain the fucking Bible shit in there. US TV loves a religious slant. It's really hard going. They need to do the election next series and quit.

Halfway through Season 3 of House Of Cards and I'm finding it a bit of a slog. Gobbing in the hanging Jesus in the church made me laugh though.

"Hairy - you've got a point. But surely if everything went perfectly, it would all be done in one series?"

"Opinion on Prison Break... up to episode 17 on Season 1 and although I think it is ok, it gets a bit repetitive does it not? Everything that can go wrong, you know will go wrong, every episode. It will all come together in the end like a good A Team plan but you do start to get bored of the 'close shaves'...not up with the best IMO"

"The Larry Sanders Show Recently gave in waiting for it to turn up cheap and bought the box set of all series, from 1992 to 1998. This is the original comedy that raised the comedy bar before Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Extras and such like, which must have been heavily influenced by Gary Shandling's genius comedy. HBO's flagship programme for the 90s. I strongly recommend this to all comedy fans. I've been laughing out loud during every episode of series 1 so far."

"series 3 was also messed up due to the writers strike, so they ended it abruptly. series 1 and 2 are the best, but its worth watching the whole thing just to see how it ends."
