"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Watching those 100 years film, you got names early in my time and before. Montana, Marino, Bradshaw, Tarkenton, Elway, maybe Young Brady and Brees are up there, Rodgers and Roethlisberger probably too. But let the rest show what they can do over a few season. People were talking about Michael Vick and Cam ""Superman"" Newton in these terms at one point."

"Matt Ryan must be feeling gutted. He threw almost the perfect game: 30/36, 356 yards, 4TDs and no interceptions yet still lost because of a porous defence and a missed extra point."

"Mahomes and Watson have had it easy so far with their decent offences, so until they do a few 4th quarter comebacks like Brady a couple of years ago, fuck em ;o) Was watching Ridiculousness recently which is a hardcore version of You've Been Framed and they had a load of videos of Falcons fans after that comeback. Their reactions were fucking hilarious."

"Mahomes vs Watson is a battle we'll be watching for years to come in the AFC Wilson is the class of the NFC and may be the best int he league to do it currently, Matt Ryan is playing at an MVP level but his defence is so bad that he's getting Zero notice for how well he's playing. Seems to be a lot of up and coming young QBs in Jackson, Allen, Darnold, mayfield, Murray, Minshew, even Brissett and Jimmy G havent made many starts so will be interesting to see if any of them develop into ELITE QBs"

"Couple of absolute bombs to Diggs. And then he tried his best to fuck up Cousins stats by dropping absolute dolly's the rest of the game. Sort of feel the general QB standard isn't currently that great, so with Brady, big Ben and Brees on their last legs with Rodgers not far behind them, where is the next hall of famer from?"

"Still revelling in the Niners squashing of the Rams. Shame the Seahawks scrambled back, but you can't have everything."

I agree he's not the best quarterback going but i think you could also do a lot worse in this league. Sure i saw something saying since he's come into the league only Brady has more wins than him as a starter

There's a lot better than Zak out there despite what the current QBR might say.

"Dak's not been paid YET, seems like Jerry Jones is happy to let him play this year out and see what happens, looked at the start of the season like he was going to earn himself the biggest contract in history but has come back down to earth with a bump the last 3 weeks. Still probably be made the highest paid QB in history as it just seems to be the next man up for a contract breaks the record now regardless of if they're deserving."

Slagging off a team before the game is a stupid move. I'm glad he's gone. Did their team talk for them.

"kirk will never be one of the elite QBs but he's a steady player who'll deliver a consistent 300yds per game and decent completion percentage. there's clearly jealousy behind some digging him out, but look towards dallas if you want an overpaid, underperforming quarterback, and don't care what his QBR is"

"Hermit, like I said, you don't want to trash talk about the Vikings when they're hurting, they will come back and bite you, the Vikes are not suddenly a bad team, they had some internal problems, which I hope have been sorted Zach Brown released huh?"

"Eagles released LB Zach Brown yesterday a day after he got pasted by Kirk Cousins, which was itself a day after he said that Kirk Cousins was shit. Bloody idiot."

"Another recommendation for NFL Films on YouTube. Watched the 100 greatest plays ones over the weekend. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1SLMQpQrIizuGY1gLBveY2Y4jbR1RIcm Lots of past players, celebrities of various degrees and others showing what growing up on the NFL meant to them. Makes me feel a little artificial, only getting into it in my teens. Still a great and educational even watch. (I think there are two positive Saints plays in the 100: the Gleason blocked kick to rally the city after Katrina - look at his story and what he has done since getting ALS - and the interception for the Super Bowl.)"

2 terrible calls by refs against Detroit last night. One led to a packers touchdown .

"The perils of trading players! In WHO league I needed a QB to replace Josh Allen on his bye week but would've been better leaving him in thanks to Mariota and his -1! In my non-WHO league I replaced the Texans with the Panthers, which helped a little but no match for my opponent's Pats defence. Worse still I've scored over 265 points in the last 2 weeks and lost both times..."

"Offence has been struggling this season so far, offensive line is very banged up although should get Wynn back from IR in a few more weeks as well as the first round receiver chosen this year so hopefully some reinforcements, also lots of talk about trading for an AJ Green or OJ Howard as an extra weapon."

"Robert Saleh, our defensive coordinator. He's a man proud of his achievements ;o) And I don't think us or the Pats have particularly magical receivers (Edelman and Kittle probably the stand outs), but come on, you can't really mention Jimmy G in the same breath as Brady yet, or probably ever. Brady makes his receivers look better than they are as the cheating cսnt is mustard and our D-line would have to have a cracking day against him. Still a million miles off the game happening anyway."

"RBshorty 2:40 Mon Oct 14 Re: NFL (since 2016) It will be 49ers or Saints against you Pats crystal. Brady vs Jimmy G will be very interesting, student against the master, although it could well be more about the defences"

Shocking all round and what a prick the roided up DC of the 49ers is. He's well suited there.

"You'd better start saving your pennies to pay for my chelts entry Burnsy my boy. Lowest yards of Goff's career with a huge 78!!! Skins up next, so have to be confident of going 6-0 with their off field dramas and injuries on it."
