"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"All going your way, Hermit. I really need the Jets to score a couple of garbage TDs and Wentz to run in a TD or two."

It's a good week to have The Eagles' defence on your fantasy team.

Miss the original play but the Bucs corner that got disqualified: the hit seemed soft. Maybe missed something. Saints chanting Teddy Teddy - nice to see.

"the team's never properly fit, grumps, so they're normally fucked by half time and continually picking up injuries. the coach is a disgrace but as usual, they decide to play well today which delays him going a bit longer, and he really has to go before we can improve"

"Yeah but we're not contenders and have a generally tough schedule overall. They only have about 3/4 difficult games. Your boys really are in disarray at the moment. Looked promising a couple of years ago, just falls apart so quickly when you're run by clowns."

"I know the Pat's are quality, but fuck me the first half of their season and more is bloody easy. Cant see them having to put much effort in for a couple of months yet."

"The Birds can make any game close. What bets are you lot doing today? I've been losing more than winning this season. Tempted by the very good Raiders odds if on,y because the jet lag is a leveller."

"Darnold out again tonight, misses game against Eagles with inflated spleen. Hasn't played since week one. So we'll go 0-4 tonight and things will really be looking up. Sheesh. This race to the bottom of the AFC East against the Fins will go right down to the wire. My guess is we could easily go 2-14 or 3-13 this season - even with Darnold back at some later point. Because we'll reach a tipping point where there will soon be an incentive to completely tank the season and get more high draft picks."

"Assuming the Niners dismantle the Browns on Mon night, the next game is at the Rams. Should the Niners beat the Rams they would be 3 games behind the Niners. Actually it would be 2.5 games back as the Niners have played 1 game less."
