"Taking to Twitter, the Italy international wrote: “Dear West Ham. “While my time in London didn’t go the way I had planned, some of my greatest life moments were made here. And for that I’m forever grateful Thank you to the players and staff for making me feel so welcome, and the fans for their continued support. “I will continue to support this fantastic club from home in Italy, and will be keeping in close touch with the lifelong friends I have made whilst in England Thank you for everything, Ciao.”"

"Jimmy Neighbour 8:40 Mon Jul 25 Should have gone for a more insighful ""this is going to be be a fingers crossed job"" LOL Im not sure Talksport or MOTD will be in contact with me anytime soon! but i can deam the dream and hope we get lucky with a striker for a change......... If he ends up signing?? Which in itself will be a relief the way we seem to dither, from reports his personal terms are not done yet, he (or his agent) gets moody and can see dithering having a change of heart, wouldnt be the first time, didnt we have a deal for a CB from Italy last summer, agreed only for Moyes to pull out?"

"Sydney_Iron 10:30 Sun Jul 24 ''We are well overdue some luck with signing a striker! Can feel it in my water, 20 plus goals coming up from this fella????'' Great analysis that, you are truly wasted on here with your insights."

He looks a bit.light weight. His goal scoring record is not great. Does he play for the same team like that waste of space Zaza? His potential signing is not a good sign.

"I might be wrong, hope I'm not, but I get a bit of a young Di Canio vibe from Scamacca. If he scores a hatrick, punches the ref, and headbutts the opposition manager in his first game then I'll consider myself correct."

Moyes wanted Lingard. Got Vlasic. Doesn't fill me with confidence if (IF) Moyes doesn't really fancy this fella either

"Moyes isn't stupid or a child, Broja just isn't viable and Scamacca is possibly a good alternative. Hopefully it'll work out."

Still can't get over excited until he has a picture with a west ham shirt and its official. Would be very West Ham for this one not to sign.

"personal terms also includes whether or not he even wants to come. feels like the agent is on our side (given he's kostic's aswell) and the club are happy with the cash, but whether the player wants to come (or if moyes wants him - not that would stop the transfer anyway) remains to be seen. certainly feels like an opportunity we'd be mental to turn down, but like i said before, so did haller."

Personal terms have yet to be finalised with Gianluca Scamacca and his agent Alessandro Lucci and until they are resolved no medical will be scheduled to complete the £35.6m transfer on a five year contract. As of yet he has not flown to London. West Ham Football @westhamfootball

I’ve never heard of a sticky toffee hob nob. They sound good are they? I wonder if they’re anything like the English toffee ice cream I get out here.
