Dispatches tonight could be about him so he has jumped in first dismissing claims and rumours and saying anything he did in past was consensual. No doubt it will be said that this is The Matrix coming after him due to his opposition to mainstream media.

"‘Whether he believes it or not, he is a right wing poster boy.’ No he isn’t. He is anti establishment. He doesn’t vote and talks regularly about revolution. He is a disillusioned lefty. Like many traditional left wingers that have been painted as far right by the alt left, because they are threatened by their platform to reach a wider audience than most msm."

"I think Brand realised the centre left was an empty vessel. There’s no money in proper left so the right offer an audience. What he says is not any wing though. He points out hypocrisy which might be a bit rich from him. His last video on Covid called out the nonsense of both left right and centre, except Sweden obvs."

"Takashi Miike 8:01 Mon Sep 18 Re: Russell Brand ""lot of these right wing commentators are failed entertainers, so it's no wonder this is where Brand has ended up."" he's not remotely right wing, stop talking shit Of course he’s not. That’s why he spouts every fucking right wing talking point known to man. Whether he believes it or not, he is a right wing poster boy. But I’m sure that’s just the mainstream media’s fault or whatever reasoning you want to give."

"It's a good time to be an unheard of female comedian at the moment because Sky are dragging them out to say how brutal all men are and it's not easy being a female in the industry. Try being a funny female, there's a start. Basically the MSM are saying all men are rapists and sexual predators. Just lock us all up or give us a curfew so we can't go out after dark."

The remaining dates of RB's current tour have been cancelled. Never taken much notice of him and as the Dad of a once teenage daughter I find the involvement of a 16 year old stuff disgusting. But why is so much weight put behind the words of the accusers in this sort of case? There's as much chance of him being a rapist as there is of him having done nothing illegal so why should he be cancelled without evidence to suggest that he is guilty of a crime? Guessing the Saville case has ramifications that are still being felt.

"Griff - totally understand what you're saying, fella. Any parent would go apeshit, understandably. And then some. I guess that's the issue with the law, isn't it? But let's be clear - that specific issue is utter sleaze rather than illegal."

"So, when did YOU first discover /realise that you quite liked sex? On the teat of your wet-nurse, was it, or, probably more likely, bouncing up and down on the lap of your favourite uncle?"

Tomsdad I doubt it. Not yet. Yesterday's allegation for 2003 has been received by the Met so I assume they will see if their is sufficient evidence to charge. I'm not sure if the Dispatches stuff was submitted to the Met or they feel it's enough to investigate and then charge.

Hopefully they go after that Peter Tatchell He’s been spouting about how it’s every gay mans rite of passage to fuck young boys. 9 year olds can consent to gay sex with 50 year olds. Fucking nonce. How come they’re not going after him.

"Just watched the doc. Let the police do their job and see what happens. In the meantime, I think RB should be cancelled for being a fucking prick. I never bought his schtick back in the day. Had an emperors news clothes vibe about him that bamboozled because he's read the dictionary. He's a grifter. The work dried up, so he moved further and further to the right because he knew that's where the money is. Now he's a full blown conspiracy theorist ""just asking questions"" rallying against the mainstream. Yet he was happy to take mainstream money by appearing in a Hollywood film last year. So what is it? The mainstream is bad? But not when you're making money off it? A lot of these right wing commentators are failed entertainers, so it's no wonder this is where Brand has ended up. But of course, like the Trump defense, it's all the pesky main stream media constantly making up lies about the poor right wingers. ""Mainstream media."" Do me a fucking favour."

What Branded says. I think as a father of a 16 yo daughter you should be more concerned about the type of person she is having sex with rather than their age.

I mean the previous allegations were said to have taken place between 2006 and 2013.
