"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

BOOM.! What did I say. Should have been a betting man. Brown agrees a one year deal with the Patriots.

Do the Patriots regain any cap space when Josh Gordon has his annual weed relapse?

"So many of them are absolute bell ends, though Brown is probably the best WR in the NFL at the moment. I do like that regardless of how good players are, the owners/coaches etc never take their shit as much and happily fuck them off, where as footballers get away with murder."

Scorch that's evil. Teaming up with OBJ would make Cleveland have more Diva's than Paris during fashion week.

Be entertaining to see him on the browns. But what a headcase.

I reckon he takes the pay cut. Teams up with Darth Vader and the Emperor. Wins the Vince Lombardi trophy next year. Then publicly tells everyone he's the greatest WR ever. And we can all go and fuck our selves.!

RBshorty 8:11 Sat Sep 7 Or Sean Payton But it will probably come down to salary cap. Do the Patriots have room?

"what do they do regarding money, only $9m available, probably defer the bigger stuff to his second/third year?"

Crystal will hate me for it. But I can see Brown ending up with the Patriots. He's the type of basket case Bill Belicheck loves to get the best out of.

Brown has come out and apologised. Of course he's going to play. Even Brown not a big enough idiot to walk away from £15 million for not showing up.

"I'm not surprised, he seems too high maintenance for most coaches/gms. looking at cap space, the colts & browns have the most money available but I don't see cleveland needing him, so his options could be limited"

Brown has just been released by the Raiders for being such a twat.

Who got Antonio Brown. The absolute farce that's happening at the Raiders is entertaining from the outside but surely he wont play a game for them.

"Burnsy, Gurley has Gout, Goff is bang average, so are your Wide Receivers, your O-Line is a major weakness. You better hope Darnold can play offense and Defense this year, otherwise you don't have a prayer"

Max Unger was a solid centre in an elite OL but retired at the right time. (The kid McCoy might kick on from that) The pick and then even the pick for the guy they got with the pick have been next to nothing. Still Saints might have got the better deal.

"In fairness its been a good 4/5 years and a few injuries since he was with the saints, lucky to score last night rogers had no business throwing that ball"

That slaphead was 20/1 for first TD. Couldn't get better than 6 or 7 when he was at the saints. Always unusual how shit many offensive players are when moving teams.
