Yeah its got progressively worse all week from a few showers to basically raining all day... just have to hope they're wrong and tbh a couple of 5 over shootouts are probably our best chance anyway

"Been a strange season, weather denying a couple of wins and inconsistent batting in the County Championship with some shocking bowling in the T20 but in with a shout of winning the County Championship and at finals day of the T20 next Saturday. Strange one Lawrence going to Su££ey next season for less money than he's on at Essex and Sir Chef seeming 50/50 on carrying on next season, there are some good young players emerging in the batting line up with Michael Pepper and Feroze Khushi getting more red ball games, Will Buttlemann is another one and Robin Das looks a prospect."
