The use of a small core of 16 players is what he did at Everton for years 20 - 30 years out of date thinking which is consistent with everything he does. He needs to retire

"Shit performance but not surprising. Defensively we’ve been poor all season, whoever plays. With the ball we’re dogshit. Zero movement, zero idea of how to keep the ball or get from one end of the pitch to the other. Don’t be fooled by the points on the board, we’re not very good."

"Steve , bang on comment re expecting fringe players to perform when they barely kick a ball in weeks . And why are they so rusty , we all know why because Moyes has his core group of players and no one else is considered unless injuries or suspension occur . Hence we have a team but not a squad . Tactically illiterate, brain dead on substitutions , rigid inflexible game plan , inferiority complex against the “ big “ clubs , an ingrained refusal to give younger players any real opportunity. I for one have had enough of this bluffer who by sheer dint of longevity was lucky enough to win a trophy that whilst welcome has to be acknowledged for what it is - third tier . Moyes out ."

StevetheHammer - agree with everything you say. Except as a ST holder I'm stuck with him for the season.

If you're still Moyes in at this point then you should fucking top yourself. Simple as that. If we offer him a new contract I'm fucking out.

Got to pray that Steidten sees the problem and not offering a new contract to Moyes may now help Suspect we may have to wait until summer tho The feel good factor of that conference cup win got many of us hoping For a new era but it will have to wait for a new manager

"I have never been the biggest fan of Moyes and have made my thoughts on him quite clear. Tonight won't define our season, it's an annoyance and a setback. The thing is, he won't learn, he won't change, he won't think of another way to play, win and compete. It will be the same tactics, same team management and style at home to a very poor Everton side on Sunday. Tonight he expected fringe players to simply turn up and perform and his lack of team management was at the forefront tonight. Some of those players have had less than 30 minutes worth of football over the last 6 weeks and he expects them to go out and get a result. Too many square pegs in round holes too. For what he has had to spend and the owners have been rightly cunted off on this forum, you cannot deny that he has had some serious money to use and this is the result. It's a fucking abomination that we are made to sit and watch the shit served up each week by Moyes, I've said it before but winning that cup last season is the worst thing that could have happened as it gave him a free pass. He should have been gone come June and a new fresh manager with fresh ideas, a far better style of play coming in and working with Stiedten to identify players to fit an identity. Moyes has run his course now, it's time to start looking at the future. I cannot watch the shit he serves up anymore, it's not enjoyable, it's frustrating and tiresome and I will support my club like I've done for the past 33 years but I won't be spending money going to watch a David Moyes team play."

"RM10 Why would the reserve players be bothered? They know they are just temporary shoo-ins for the one game. No matter how well they play, they know full well they'll be back sat watching the game at the weekend. Funny really... we've had the MSM write ups over the last couple of weeks about the possibility of Moyes staying on, and (not for the first time) that is immediately accompanied by the players shitting out on the pitch. I can only conclude that, like most of us fans, they can't wait for Moyes to fuck off."

?Ä Moyes selection and tactical ‚Äúdisaster class‚Äù. Even the subs and timing of them all wrong. The ‚Äúwheels have come off the bus‚Äù and a loss to Everton will be no surprise :-( Soucek is the embodiment of Moyes blindness

"Tonight you saw all that is wrong with a Moyes team. No creativity , far too many sideways/backwards passing, no plan b and no idea how to break a team down . Please fuck off Mr Moyes and let the club get someone in that actually gets us playing attractive football rather than the negative shit you've got us playing."

Awful performance. Soucek must have something on Moyes to keep his place. Apart from his finish Paqueta has been a non effective show pony last couple of games. Need to find a way to play Kudus because his position is the same as Bowen. Makes of laugh when commentators talk about our quality.. not showing much of that at the moment.

"That was pathetic. How many chances did we create? How many saves did their keeper have to make? On top of that, it was the usual cheating and diabolical refereeing. And what the fuck was Ogbonna thinking?"
