So they’ve finally reformed after years of speculation and denial and announced a 2025 tour. Musical geniuses or a bunch of cunts?

I’m IN.

Funny how much noise people who apparently don't give a fuck or think they're shit have been making since all this was announced. Worse than vegans and non-drinkers.

I'd give it 5 mins before they start fighting.

"Swiss. wrote... Re: Oasis - let’s get the band back together. Oasis Quo as Blurr called them I'm pretty sure Damon out of blur called them Quoasis, but never mind. I'd go and see them for a laugh and a bit of a throwback, all depends on cost and venue. Can take or leave it so won't be bothered if I don't get tickets."

Oasis Quo as Blurr called them. Some great tracks but padded out by some right shit. Had tickets to see them when I was working in Atlanta 1996. They cancelled . Again in 1999 when working in Paris for Bercy. Again they cancelled. Both times the tickets were bought for me so maybe a relief . Maybe if I buy a ticket for each night they will cancel the tour :-(

"Went to see Springsteen at Wembley. It was ok but the sound was nowhere near as good as it should be for that sort of price. The worst bit about the whole experience though was everyone being funnelled into the tube station. The steps to get into the station were a nightmare, not helped by a knobhead security guard playing Sweet Caroline through his loudhailer - which meant people had to stop and film other drunk twats singing along to it. Hard swerve for me as the number of idiots on display will be significantly more for Oasis."

"Council Scum had it right earlier - 3 (admittedly very) decent tracks on (what I believe was) their first album, padded out by weapons-grade filler. All subsequent releases then dispensed with the decent tracks, yet still sold...proving how easy it is to manipulate people into serving you."

The Prodigy set was superb - they performed some of The Fat of the Land tracks before it was officially released

"Like a few on here I was at knebworth in 96 and the original one at Wembley. I just tagged along with mates rather than be that into them myself, definitely a few good songs, but I way preferred the prodigy at knebworth who were supporting. They are taking a bit of a risk doing this and there’s going to be some tragic looking 50 year olds there"

Two more reasons why I won’t be going. The extortionate prices. The long queue to get out at the end.

Didn't realise they were skint.? Cheapest ticket starting at £200.! Fair play too them. But as Ray said. It ain't exactly The Jam coming back.

"3-4 decent singles, on an ok album. Effectively became their own tribute act in around 2000 as they couldn't write another decent song. Yours."

"Nothing wrong being labeled a pub band, the Blockheads who in my opinion were one of the tightest musically bands of all time, were essentially a pub band. Having said that, I don't think I've heard an Oasis song, are they any good then?"

It won’t even be ‘The Band’ High Flying Birds plus special guest Liam Gallagher!
