"I was offered a free ticket for tonight. It gives me no pleasure to say I knew that would be the usual dross served up under Moyes so declined. Just wished I hadn't watched at home. I don't think I could stomach seeing Moyesball in the flesh. Moyes and Allardyce both negative football, but to be fair to Fat Sam he was never given anywhere near the transfer budget Moyes has enjoyed."

"What a fucking mess of a game, real lack of quality all round.we missed Bowen playing in his usual role on the right ,kudus still looks raw at times and disappears for long periods ,so where does Moyes play him?cos I don’t think we can afford to lose Bowens industry down the right."

"Well that was frustrating and painful to watch at times. Benrahma was poor. Paqueta too flashy gave the ball away a too often. Aguerd missed a couple of headers from a corner that he should have scored from The Bubble missed the best clear cut chance though. Thankfully Olymiakos played for the draw, up until our goal we were the better team mainly because of the tactics of Olympiakos, after the goal they came at us and were the much better team and should have scored. Poor performance by all, no-one played well, Kudus and Bowen were irrelevant. Good news is we are guaranteed European football next year either Europa or Conference. We probably won’t know until we play the last game against Freiburg. We are too because of the head to head, so win our next game then a draw against Freiburg will see us through to Europa. It was unconvincing but it’s still a win against a team with European football history. So gotta be happy with the result. Goal was well taken by Paqueta. Ref was horrible."

"tough watch tonight. I'm not sure what the fuck he's doing with the midfield, especially when for big parts of the game ward prowse was sitting deeper than alvarez. I thought james played well, but it was hard to pick out anyone else. the ref was just a continuance of the shit standard we get game in game out"

All i can assume is that its on head-to-head results and GD is only applied if the head-to-head is equal? Maybe like the away goals rule in knockout rounds its been changed?

"Pedestrian Laboured Sloppy Etc etc I don’t think we learnt anything from tonight. We need a centre forward, but we also need some kind of game plan when we have the ball. Kudus is an excellent player but I can’t help thinking the money would have been better spent on replacing Antonio."

"So just seen the table and we are still top on 9 points? How does that work as Freiburg also have 9 points, but they won 5-0 tonight..."

The problems are all there to be seen . We sit far too deep ward prowse was playing deeper than Alvarez. It's mental setting up that negatively. Still a wins a win .

Fuck me that was ugly. Happy with the win but piss off Moyes and I'm not in the least concerned about my wish.

"Another Moyes masterclass, I will never get those 95 mins back, wish i had just watched the highlights as our goal chip from JWP and Paqueta finish was the only thing worth watching."

Poor performance not helped by a quite shocking performance by the officials. I'd be checking their bank accounts. Even flagging offside for our goal that was miles onside. All that matters is the points but it shows that we are just not able to show the intensity and composure needed to win comfortably.

Well a wins a win with two bits of quality in an otherwise dull performance. The officiating was as bad as I've seen. Key is going to be getting the best out of both Kudus and Bowen because they can't both play on the right.

"Should be level, they hit the post from 3 yards out. We’re holding on now. Very unconvincing performance. We’re all over the place. Final whistle can’t come quick enough!"

I get the strangest feeling that the officials/authorities don't really want us to progress beyond this round.

"1-0, so time for some subs from Moyes and hang on, expect the likes of Kehrer and Soucek to get a run.........Couple of attacking players to make way. Moyes masterclass!!!"
