goose 10:41 Sun Nov 26 Your 2nd paragraph is spot on and articulated perfectly. Its a classic case of getting cause and effect mixed up.

Re: Net Migration 745000
"it's about the UN migration pact. they've openly said they don't want homogenous populations in europe. an extract from a BBC article about the shitbag peter sutherland....... ""The EU should ""do its best to undermine"" the ""homogeneity"" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said. Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural. He also suggested the UK government's immigration policy had no basis in international law. He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration. Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development , which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas. """
Re: Net Migration 745000
"It's true that immigration has shot up since leaving the EU. But that doesn't mean rejoining will bring it back down or leaving was pointless. Our politicians have failed to do what we asked them to do, which was bring immigration down. Being a member of the EU it was impossible for them to bring it down. It's fully their responsibility now."

So Immigration is about 3 times higher than in 2010 and twice as high as before Brexit yet people still try to blame Blair and the EU!

"Poland's likely to be fucked both ways. They'll expand the labour market ""space"", whatever the fuck that ""space"" is, at the same time AI & general manufacturing automation begins a serious roll-out. Both will drive down wages as companies seek to reduce costs/increase profits, with the added benefit of most of the tsunami of inbound migrants will go straight onto welfare (as you'd expect in any ""civilised"" nation) because AI/automation has taken over the jobs they were expecting/expected to do. Poland will end up with a vastly larger, multi-cultural population, the majority of whom won't be able to afford what is being produced."

"Actually, I voted for Tusk’s KD. One of the reasons for that was I want the country run normally, and that of course involves letting the Labour market have as much space as possible when it comes to immigration policy. Oh and he doesn’t play the pathetic populist xenophobic card. So if we move, it will be despite Tusk and the incoming coalition."

"The outgoing PiS reactionary Fascolic mob certainly talked about not letting the Muslims in. And then it went and sold upwards of 150,000 moody visas Schengen visas, mostly in Islamic countries. But it secured its 34% bloke vote among the downtrodden like you, Ratched. No improvement in the areas I’ve outlined though in 8 years so yes, the reactionary nutjobs are definitely taking the piss out of you."

"Inflation, shrinking spending-power, the rat-race at work, lack of access to affordable housing, health services and education, shit public services including recourse to security when him indoors throws a violent wobbly - all real problems we all face. But if anyone tells you they’re going to make your life better by talking about stopping Muslims from coming in, they’re simply taking the piss. Out of you."
Re: Net Migration 745000
"Productivity is not about how hard you work rather it’s about how smart you work. The simple reason why we follow rather than lead in terms of productivity lies in the lack of industrial investment. More productive countries have reached their level by modernising production methods, invested in training and also in R & D. It’s a regularly stated right wing trope to link lack of productivity with so called lazy workers but the truth lies elsewhere and profit taking rather reinvestment is a much bigger culprit."
