"Forget the lack of quality, the lack of desire and ball watching was unforgivable. Didnt challenge for many balls in the middle of the park. Just stood there and watched as it was cut out or anticipated. Half their players knew what we we going to do better than ours. Thought Ings showed a bit of effort when he came on."

"OK, so which trophies was Rice thinking of when he left us?"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Billy boy, Tut tut! I am not Moyes biggest fan, I am not calling for his head. There is a difference. To fire him now will fuck up what is a promising season. I know it is not perfect and the football is dour at times but in the same breath it is not as bad as you all are making out. Cup ties always have lower division teams play out of their skin, it’s what makes it such a great competition. Disappointed with today’s result. A couple of new faces and some rest which is what we will get will set us up for a good run in. There is not an owner in the Orem that would fire a manager that has just won his Europa group, sits 6th in the table and is selling out the stadium. You have to be a bit thick if you think it’s gonna happen any time soon. Moyes is staying so get behind the team and support them, who knows you might have something to celebrate at seasons end again!"

"‘Mubama was spectacularly poor’ Agreed but Bristol defended well, won everything in the air and Bowen got dispossessed 3 or 4 times when one on one with the RB. Well drilled team, mid table but just shows how difficult the championship is to get out of, their support was superb Overall a cold day and depressing performance and to cap it all the tube strike got called off"

"Nutsin and Twoleft confirmed as being on wind ups based on today’s posts so best ignored. I mean, Nutsin thinks we went more attacking ffs. Weapon"

Can I just put this out there - We are still in the competition despite playing so badly. Remember BFS and Nottingham Forest. Have a great evening.

Apparently 2 or 3 players are coming imminently. According to people who spoke to steitden at the game . We seriously need them . I love fornals for what he's he's done for the club. But he looks mentally shot to pieces and needs a move . Cornet showed more in his brief spell on the left than Pablo's shown all season.

"“Danny Ings was probably the best player when he came on. I’d talk about his performance rather than anything else.” Jesus fuckin wept, Moyes... look, we all know WHU want to sell Ings, but do you really have to be quite so bloody obvious, fella..? Do you think the rest of us are blind?!"

Moyes is a coward he went strong today expecting an easy win which makes it even worse that he forfeited the Liverpool match. It's on his watch that the squad isn't good enough his reluctance to install any youth apart from Mumbama is again down to him. I know this should be on the Moyes out thread but I gave up with that two years ago

"Moyes after the game - “Danny ""Ings"" was probably the best player when he came on. I’d talk about his performance rather than anything else.” Don't know whether to laugh orcry."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Fraser I’d say we’ve brought in some good players, even though we had to sell our best player to fund some of the purchases. I’d say both our goal keepers are good enough. Emerson, Bubble and Alvarez, JWP, Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta are all quality. Zouma was quality but is too slow now and so is Ogbonna, Aguerd is out injured so center half, preferably a left footed one is needed. That will help us defensively. Coufal although a good squad player is also somewhat slow, so a right back with some pace will give us the ability to attack without worrying about being exposed defensively. Then the obvious pact left winger and goal scoring striker, one who knows how to put himself in the right position and can find the back of the net to complete the starting team. At this point in time we are missing a few pieces but we are close. To fire Moyes now is fucking moronic!"

"No ifs, buts or maybe’s, Moyes has to go. Under no circumstances should the club offer him a new contract. He has proven time and time again that he is an atrocious coach who cannot organise a genuinely attacking team. His default position is massed, deep defence and I’ve had a gutfull of it. How the fuck we fill a 62,000 arena is beyond me."

Just read Moyes' post match comments. Fuck me! The cսnt takes every chance he has to dig Fornals out. Absolute toilet man management that.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
Nutsin - but you said Moyes has been proven right because when he sets his team up to play expansively we leave massive holes So bottom line would you employ a manager who had spent £450 million but was incapable of playing more expansively against a team that cost fuck all without leaving holes in our defence? No you wouldn't and you're right he has been proved right no matter how much he spends and how poor the opposition are he can't get a team playing good football

"Let‚Äôs hope Steidten gets some bodies in - Left winger with pace Centre forward Centre back Creative midfielder Bin Fornals, Ings and Benrahma. Get Mubama out on loan. Fingers crossed our injuries aren‚Äôt too serious ?ü§û?üèª"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
"The thing is Moyes just literally shoe horns players into his system no matter the situation. I mean Ings as a number 10, really? Fair enough if he goes for it. 442 stick Ings up top with Mubama, Bowen right, Cornet left, JWP and Alvarez in the middle, or even just stick the beanpole Soucek up front in a 442 and go direct but to make those changes and put Ings deep and Soucek dropping even deeper is bizarre."

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
The way things are going we will struggle to put out any kind of side for the replay. Piss poor today but more concerned about the injuries. Our squad players just not good enough and Ogbonna and Zouma need wrapping up in cotton wool as any long term injury to them really would be a disaster. We need to do business in this window to give us cover and a chance to progress in the second half of the season I also thought there no 15 today looked a decent player and a handful.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Bristol City - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Fraser, It’s a cup tie ffs! There are plenty of examples where teams are held by apparent weaker teams, it happens all the time. Still doesn’t get away from the fact that we played the way you have all been crying out for, if anyone thinks we played andefensive style today then you have no idea what you are talking about. As I said we missed some sitters today. Paqueta getting hurt didn’t help and Mubama is not the answer like I’ve been saying for ages. All the fucking moaning all the fucking time is pathetic!"
