The Cooking Thread

So as promised: the intention is we just share recent cooking exploits. Today, I’m posting image links for homemade crumpets with smoked salmon and a chicken fricassée (I love that name) with brine pickles.

As it’s Remembrance Day, I will call an amnesty on all posters I have banned on this thread. The intention is that if you feel the urge to insult, abuse or otherwise cսnt-off-the-bastard, why not keep it on this thread only. The idea is the rest of the site gets more civil.

So, the link

PS - this thread is dedicated to all the posters who think I have ruined the site and need a deporting to Siberia. Thank you yes please.

Arf! @ 'pye'.

What on earth did your tonguey mince pies taste like, IoC?

My Christmas mincemeat does NOT contain meat. Does contain beef suet though, to be fair. Made it a few weeks ago. I  make enough so I only have to make it every other year.

ffs, Mr Anonymous. I called onlyonebraincell a gullible poof because he still seems to believe Trump was an advocate of the UK’s interest by promoting Brexit. I’ve checked the post - are you braincell’s wife or something?

probably no coincidence that Pickle gets called out for ranting a load of homophobic slurs at people, then all of a sudden starts a cooking thread

You do realise proper mince pie mince has got meat in it

Most often one specific meat.
Here are some I made a couple years ago by adapting an 18th century recipe (see last pic).

Sickening ain't it. Pickle was accused of destroying WHO so the cսnt went out of his way to prove it. Fucking thread should be deleted. No pride left anymore, imagine Millwall seeing this ffs. And we wonder why most have fucked off.

I dunno. I thought the music thread was more gay than this one. This one is more mince than mincing.

Is that a ceviche OSD?

I love a bit of well-filleted white fish (cod, hake, haddock etc) that’s been cooked not thermally but in lemon and salt.

Cooking is gay, now? Jesus, it's a wonder dome of you don't starve to death when you shy away from cooking for yourself. Bit pathetic really. Let we guess, you'll be the first to jump on the bbq and badly cook salmonella burgers in the summer, because that's a very many thing to do?

Back on topic, I find getting a load of cheap white fish from Aldi, seasoning it with garlic granules, lemon juice, salt and pepper and then roughly chopping it up and mixing it with peas and rice (rice boiled in garlic granules and lemon juice too) is a very healthy, nutritious and tasty dish.

Do you know, I always wondered if there was anyone out there who lived in terror of Millwall. Seems I’ve got my answer.
But he isn't wrong is he Pickle. Imagine if another club's supporters saw this. Jesus, have some fucking pride. As Manuel said, you have been accused of destroying WHO, I don't particularly agree that you have personally, but it is threads like this that make of mockery of the site and you for that matter.
To be fair to Pickle, the idea of a cooking thread came up in conversation on WHO recently and I encouraged him to create this thread.

I don't get criticised for my bird thread. Debs didn't get criticised for her music thread. The OP of the film thread doesn't get abuse. Etc.

If some posters from other clubs feel like commenting on this thread they are welcome. What’s the matter with you? Are you seriously from a world where you fear accusations of being gay if you know what to do in a fucking kitchen?

Coming soon on WHO "The Knitting Thread"

Lots of people enjoy cooking. Nobody enjoys women's football.
Sad to see not even support from Nurse. I'll ask Randle McMurphy to sort that out.
I've always wanted to learn how to knit so I'm game. Anyway, gangs of stabby fannies getting their knitting needles out has always been a feature on here.
