Ah, you again, you're weird. Wasn't it you that was adamant that baked beans shouldn't be on a fry up?

I think both tom and brown are fine on a sausage or bacon sannie, or mustard, just depends on what you fancy. Oh, and chuck a few onions in as well.
I think even BBC verify would confirm that baked beans don't belong in a proper fry up. It's an interloper. A culinary cancer in mid mitosis right there on the plate. The sugary sauce metastasizing onto your bacon and eggs.

Won't say no to onions though.

if it's only those hot dog type ones on offer, then tomato sauce with mustard.

I was AMAZED and ANGERED that on buying my fish finger sandwich, there was no tartar sauce available. salad, yes, tartar sauce, no. WTF?
Greggs do a fish finger sandwich?

At a children's party you can turn a blind eye to it. But we are all grown men (mostly) here!

I think a mod should have a look at these posts. If that dead swan pic got modded people advocating ketchup on bangers is surely beyond the pale.

Rated as one of the most ethical take away outlets on the high street (Ethical Consumer magazine, for those that like a sauce that isn't ketchup).

But I expect the bar is quite low in that regard.

I'm home alone this week and you have triggered my desire for fish fingers, chips, peas and buttered bread. Many thanks 👍

Yeah nothing wrong with ketchup on a sausage, with mustard too, and brown sauce also good, mix it up a bit!

Cheap. Convenient. Unhealthy food. The only issue they will face going forward is over saturation. And keeping hold of the slave Labour..

Good business model, cheery marketing, I'm glad they're successful.

Unfortunately for me it's heartburn in a little paper bag, so I don't eat from there. Having said that, all shop-bought pastry has the same effect. What on earth are they putting in it?

This may seem hard to believe but I've genuinely never bought anything from a Greggs.
I do remember the Baker's Oven as a similar place when I was a kid that did decent pasties/

Not picking a fight. But ketchup shouldn't be anywhere near a sausage. At least for anyone postpubescent upwards. Brown sauce is what you need my friend.

Haha I was just going to post the same thing. Good value for money that and although its not something I do regularly it'll be the first I do when I come back for Xmas.

Always a good cheap option. Loads of choice and actually do some decent stuff.

This time of year a sausage roll and a soup is always welcome.
