Why is there an obsession with Moyes? A dying site like this one attracting over 100 posts in a few days is most unusual.

summary of the presser.....
the squad is shit
he's only been there a couple of days (said numerous times)
he's burnt out (despite only being back a couple of days)
he has a great set of lads but just needs someone to give them a lift (that's his job)
he can't loan anyone
refers to himself in the 3rd person
moans about villa's yearly transfer budget
doesn't know the financial resources available, seems disinterested in making any signings
Your obsession with the only manager to win West Ham a major trophy in the last 45 season is so strange and weird, Mr Angry.

You forgot to add he looks like he's just attended a Funeral as well since rejoining. Possibly the death of Everton Football Club as a Premier League Club..

Agreed Miike. How many times did we hear him trot out “there’s nobody that can improve on what we’ve already got”, when we only really had Antonio as a (converted) striker.

What a complete contrast to Potter's first presser.

Like most here I'd love to see him take them down and it's mildly amusing hearing him come out with the old soundbites, but the reality is they are likely to stay up and we will end up disappointed.

leader of men.
The topping on that treat of a quote was him referring to himself in third person.

Am expecting him to say soon that there are no strikers out there who are better than Calvert-Lewin so Everton Nil will not be buying
Expect they will eke out enough 0-0’s to cling to survival but you hardly think Moyesie is the positive face to take them into the new stadium

Nice work, Moyesy, that's going to get your players ripping up trees for you.

“We will definitely need to do something and find ways to try and act in some way if we can. But in the same breath, if it is not going to improve it, there is no point wasting your money so we have to get that option of someone who is better than what we have got”
Very glad he is no longer with us.

All clubs clear of financial rules it seems
Everton still have a PSR issue oustanding from the 2022/23 period, re the treatment of interest on loans, for their new stadium, but otherwise in the clear.
From what I understand, Chelsea have been cleared for now. The PL will look into the ‘fair value’ they used to
recognise the inter-company sale of the women’s team.
I think they did the same process with the sale of the hotels last year.
and the PL are still appealing the Leicester decision that went against them.

Moyes won't keep them up, but Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Leicester City & Southampton will.
