We showed the league what are all about tonight and sent out shock waves !! Unfortunately shock waves of how poor Leicester must be to not lay a glove on a very impotent, slow West Ham side which is what we are at home. We have a squad that can still only really play low block and counter if we are honest.

. The need for speed is more of a hinderence to our progression than ever before. Just got to hope Potter and Macaulay can address it in the summer with what sounds like it will be a modest budget.
And it proves again how recruitment has really fallen short for most of Sullivan’s tenure which is what 13 years? Its not that we dont spend, we do but have not spent it wisely, never noticing how the game is more reliant on youth, ahleticism and speed than ever before, switching managers with no football philosophy or identify until now hopefully?
Ferguson is a way off match fitness such was the extent of his ankle injuries and so much time out of the game. They are wrapping him in 2 layers of cotton wool to avoid a reoccurance. He needs to get thru the rest of this season and have a full preseason avoiding more injuries before we might see the Ferguson that burst on the scene 2 years ago. The worry is he’s one of those injury prone players that spends his career lurching from set back to another. First step for him is to be able to play 90 mins and he has the next 12 games to do that. If we see little improvement he may not be worth trying to sign. Hopefully will work out but currently not seen too many positive signs
