To be fair, Evan wasn't hiding and was trying to bring the others forward. If we had him long term and was fully fit I think he would work out for us.
I just don't get why we've signed someone on loan who is woefully short of fitness still two months after signing. This is just odd from every angle.
I don't think it's odd. It's just desperate. He was available, needed game time, not in Brighton's first team, Potter knew him, we needed a striker..... It was just a dice roll. We hoped we'd get six. We got one. That's basically it in a nutshell.
Yeah desperate will also do it.

Finn Azaz, 'boro player looks decent.Salthouse client 😉

Manuel wrote: 21 Mar 2025, 06:23 Fwiw, what is in this for Scotland if they beat Greece, is it a guaranteed play off spot for the world cup if they don't qualify via their group, anyone know?

Always rated Stevie Clarke, a real football man and a top coach, but can be a bit depressive and somber at times.

Mav always seems to play well for Greece.
He definitely come across like he’s just been told really bad news, but then he’s Scottish and happiness isn’t allowed.

Scotland did well 0-1 in Greece. Mavropanos played the whole game, did ok, no mistakes. Was helping the attack 2nd half, but Scotland rode the storm to keep a clean sheet.

Our Edson just got a huge break from the CONCACAFness.of games over here.

Should have given away a penalty in a real officiating.

Croatia beat the French and still have a good number of players who knocked England out of the 2108 WC to get to the final, Modric still going strong amongst them! Southgate trying to sit on the 1-0 in that game still makes me shake my head, thank fuck he's been binned, let's hope Zee German can do better.

Spain and the Dutch was an entertaining draw, whilst the sweatys beat Greece away😲

In WC qualifying the mighty Aussies smashed Indonesia 5-1😄 Brazil V Columbia kicks off in about an hour, might watch some of that👍
