"It is the Kremlin’s basic policy to support anything that weakens the west - Trump, the Tory blue rinsers, the EDL and of course both Likud and Hamas."

"I saw it on EuroNews, so you may have a point. So, are you saying Putin doesn't support Trump?"

Re: The war in Ukraine
I nobody that hasn’t got their brain hard-wired for doublespeak takes Putin’s declarations of support for Biden at face value. And there is no need to confirm you just slobber up anything jizzed down for you from Troll Central.

"You seem to have changed the subject, Gopnik. The Russian position on Ukraine has been consistently and repeatedly stated by their government, Putin is their president and has been clear on this as he was in his support for Joe Biden. Its nice to know you have something in common with Vlad."

"So SBT 2, when does the Kremlin intend to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty as a state free to decide its own foreign policy and its territorial integrity prior to 2014? You’re a social and political basket-case, just like the Russian Federation."

Re: The war in Ukraine
That’s a significant win for the Kremlin. Why don’t you celebrate by eliminating another CIA pie?

Re: The war in Ukraine
"What the actual fuck have Locke, Paine and Voltaire got to do with the reference points for judging national sovereignty? This really is like talking to illiterate about per capita disposable income, demographics, access to public services, levels of corruption, strength of institutions, access to justice, health of civil society, education and international influence in terms of power from hard to soft. Fucking Voltaire indeed!"

riosleftsock 1:32 Thu Feb 29 Re: The war in Ukraine FOMB - is there a looney conspiracy out there that you don't squeal about Bovine. Perhaps you can focus and help us decide which f the Putin/Kremlin we should be believing. Is Russia no threat to the west at all and he just wants to get NATO off his borders or is he going to start nuking everyone in sight until he gets his own way. It's tricky to decipher the little man's tantrums these days - but you seem to mainlining his talking points.
Re: The war in Ukraine
"Probably old news (as I don't follow it that closely) but I see that Germany is causing issues by saying that their troops won't be allowed to do what they claim British and French troops are doing, which is directly assisting the Ukranian troops.... don't think this is going to end well. As an aside, the Germans have got some neck... start the two biggest wars in history and then absolve themselves of any responsibility for ever more on the basis that they can't trust themselves once they get a gun in their hands!"

Re: The war in Ukraine
"Nothing wrong with 19th Century, but the concept of laws of God Nature and Man predate the 19th C by quite a bit. The people behind the EU, UN, WHO, DAVOS/WEF and NATO are intellectual pygmies if you hold them up against the great thinkers of antiquity and right through to Locke, Paine, Voltaire etc. Having a government that is for and of, us, is a simple idea that is antithetical to technocratic, megalomaniac idealogues who always end up just a few corpses short of utopia. Every single time."

Re: The war in Ukraine
There is very little support for an EU army amongst member states. Many of which are NATO members Trump has pressured to pay their way.

Re: The war in Ukraine
Your idea of national sovereignty belongs n the 19th Century along with the rest of that guff about God’s law and natural law. No basic reference points for interpreting what is going on in the real world will do that. You’re a crank.

Re: The war in Ukraine
"I should probably get my other cataract done, I read it as chablis. A Eurobond is a sign of a further erosion of national sovereignty and will definitely lead to 'temporary' EU levied direct taxation, but you will have no representation. You will be paying for your own enslavement. Enjoy your new life as a russian serf, you will own nothing and be happy and nobody will save you, the EU empire will collapse as its a giant ponzi scheme and maybe, some European states will rise again."
