"Jim79 Love this. What an eclectic bunch we have on this site. Obviously I've spun the story to my son that you are my best mate so now he thinks I'm even cooler being the best mate, almost like brothers, of the father of a Disney star"

"Fuck me Jim, that's got to be the most upbeat, lovely story I've ever read on here. Brilliant stuff and it's bought a great big smile to my face. I was going to say 'bless your little 'un' but she's been blessed already. There are thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of unfortunate kids with her disability but Disney chose HER! Go on baby!"

"Thank you gents, really appreciate all your kind words and well wishes. I couldn't be prouder of her, I simply cannot put in to words how amazing it was to watch my little girl who faces so many challenges on a daily basis flourish and take to acting in a major studio movie like a duck to water, especially as she had never acted or shown any interest in acting previously. She's a natural. It was the most incredibly experience, something money couldn't even buy. Fingers crossed the film is a success and we get to film the sequel which is the plan and this is just the start of many other opportunities and experiences like it. Regardless we've done it now and nothing can take that away."

"Jim79 3:07 Mon Jul 31 Incredible Jim, best wishes to all. Know this is a film thread but just had to place this link on here. Stumbled across it whilst browsing You Tube and just got mesmerised by this guys bravery and humour in the face of adversity after being attacked by a Grizzly and having to find his way back to civilization just to survive., I haven't read his book but was just amazed listening to this interview. "My daughter is playing the leading role in a Disney Film due for release in the early part of 2024, was due to be this summer but with all the industrial action being undertaken within the Screen Actors and Writers Guilds this summer they have delayed it. Its a film called Out Of My Mind and focuses on the challenges faced by a little girl with Cerebral Palsy who is non-verbal and whose intelligence is overlooked until she receives AAC technologies that allow her to speak via a computer, much like what was used by Stephen Hawking. Its an adaptation on a New York Times top selling book that is also a comprehensive literature piece for many middle and high schools in the USA. Its the first time a major studio has cast a disabled actor in a a lead role so hopefully should receive a fair amount of interest and attention for this watershed moment. My daughter can speak but does suffer from Cerebral Palsy and requires a motorised wheelchair for mobility. During the film my daughter has an internal monologue where her thoughts are verbalised and the voice for this is provided by Jennifer Aniston and as a family of massive Friends fans this has been an incredible experience. We spent 3 months last summer in Toronto filming it which was the most incredible experience. My daughter has also followed me in having a life long love affair with West Ham so hopefully she could qualify in future years as a celebrity supporter!!!"

I've just downloaded Project X-Traction/Hidden Strike. With Jackie Chan and John Cena in it I'm sure I'm in for some Oscar nominated acting and script writing. # Can't wait for tonight.
