Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.
Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

Everton sign Grealish, then sign Dibling for £42m. This is the same Everton that had a points deduction. It seems to me if you had a points deduction (Everton and Forest) it gives you carte blanche to spend £150m on players the next season.
Whereas we sell/ get rid of 8 players, including one for £55m and get 4 players in, of which 2 are free transfers. Cunts
Yeah, I've also thought it's stunk with regards to what other Clubs get away with and yet by playing it by the book, we partly get stung that way on top of Sullivans miserly ways. It's all a bollocks. It does seem to pay to cheat.

Well looks like our world class scouting team are at it again. McCauley the data driven pearl diver extraordinaire has come up with the following gems: Yves Bissouma the past his best and old Tottingham midfielder who moonlights as a nonce, Nathan Ake knackered old journeyman who was last reliable about four years ago and Hayden Hackney England U21 bench warmer from Boro who probably isn't up to the task of keeping us up. Brilliant stuff. I dont know how they do it these data analysts, serious number crunching must have occurred here. STAYING UP, STAYING UP, STAYING UP ETC
Next level scouting for the next level team playing in that next level stadium. However, nobody asked which level they meant.

I doubt we’ll be buying Makau, as he was taken off on a stretcher in his last game.

We sign Callum Wilson.
We've signed him twice?

Expect that means Fernandes price just climbed again. Not like Saints need the money now.

ExWHU update.
Füllkrug was a tactical sub.
Tactical
Useless cսnt got hauled off in humiliating fashion at Half Time for another Striker because he kept going to ground easily as he was being out muscled time and again for the ball. Where did all that strength go, big fucking German..
Was fuck all to do with tactics but subbing someone on who actually knows how to battle for the ball in the Prem, even if he is a total shithawk.
Well that is tactical then isn't it? The point is it wasn't for injury.

6 bids in. Bissouma, Magassa, Hackney, Timber, Fernandes, and Makau.
None close.
Potter safe as of now. Irvine might leave, Guido likely to. Füllkrug was a tactical sub.

Most 'influential', in what sense, Tiktokagram?
Wary of paying good money from Bundesliga as well, Fullkrug and Mavropanos come immediately to mind. Some come good but many don't.

Boro agreed to sell Hackney to Ipswich but he turned down the move
Presumably thinks he’d only move for a Premier league club
Think we only had competition from Palace when we signed Bowen from the Championship & can’t recall any rivals for Cresswell or Antonio

Well we just over paid for a keeper no one else showed any interest in and would be seen as back up by even mid table PL clubs, so I’m not exactly optimistic Sullivan will do any better when it comes to midfielders

At this point its just going to be bench warmers from clubs with massive squads.
The likes of Hackney would have moved somewhere by now, so you have to wonder why he is still at boro?

With a week to go it’s got to the stage where you have to overpay as the selling clubs need time & money to replace their player
If you leave it til later in the week you are only getting players that clubs are desperate to get out the door

"Preparing a bid". What a crock of shit. I mean surely it takes Sullivan 5 mins to type out the shitty Carvalho style email.

We have always sailed close to the wind towards the end of transfer windows, but this season is looking like the mother of all fuck ups

and considering our situation at the end of last season only makes it worse……
It really is stinking of desperation tbh
