General Election - July 2024

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

Twoleftfeet. You do realise the way the Tory media . Ripped apart both Micheal foot . And Jeremy Corbyn for how one dressed. And the other didn't bow enough. What sunak has done is way worse. I can't stand labour either. But come on it's way worse. Both my grandfathers were at Normandy. Some things go above party politics. There's hills to die on and neither are the current Tory party or rishi sunak . Farage knows that as well .

"I’m enjoying watching Starmer cave in to everybody, first the left and now the Muslims. Once he is in power watch him give in to the unions, Europe and anyone else who says boo to him."

"I said virtually from the day this election was called that the tories want out and as big a distance between them and the shit-storm they've left for the country. If that's not obvious to anybody now you need it writ large onto a breeze block that gets repeatedly smashed into your head until it sinks in. That shit-show has to be accounted - paid - for and it will be up to the replacement government to start doing so. Where do you think they'll be getting the money? Not repeatedly stating how they hope to get it, but it actually ending up in their sky to be used. Those voting the reds in, whether by tradition or revenge will quickly start feeling further disenfranchised by the authorities as the service cuts & delays, not to mention the tax-hikes (probably all nicely dressed in green) start rolling out."

The only thing that makes this election campaign bearable is watching the Tory lapdogs squirming to defend Rishi's lies and misjudgments.

Oh you do have an affiliation to a party it’s just that it’s an affiliation of hate towards the blue party……worse still this hatred has mean’t you’ve not looked into what these other parties have down on their manifesto’s which on the main opposition one just states they are going to fix everything (great)…..which only idiots would believe…..as it will take a vast chunk of the population to pay tax OR you to pay a tax that probably goes beyond your threshold. As usual party politics brainwashing is clouding what people should be reading up on and demanding actual figures breakdown on how they are going to do it without greedy rich people emigrating. We know Sunak’s this and Sunak’s that so now is the time to study what the incoming parties will do……instead many want to just bitch about a Tory party that is on it’s way out. Foolish to the extreme if you are into politics.

So Sunak left a D-Day remembrance event early to attend an ITV interview. Just shows what an utter cսnt that lying little wanker truly is.

I have no party affiliation apart from the fact I am never going to vote conservative having grown up under Thatcher's terms in office. To answer your question directly. yes. I have no issue in paying taxes to keep our public services working.

"Zeb, come outside your comfort blanket of party politics and forget what those nasty blues are doing because they are on their way out….now concentrate on…..ARE LABOURS TAX FIGURES GOING TO WORK FOR YOU AND IF YOU LIKE…..YOURS? Just answer that simple question seeing as they are the likely incoming party."

"You are wrong Side The Office for Statistics Regulation has told the Conservatives to stop using the £2,000 figure as it is unreliable and misleading yet Sunak made a point to do a TV interview to double down on it and skip the commemoration. Sunak has apologised for missing the commemoration but not telling porkies yet. It is still a lie whichever way you look at it as they are not Labour figures but a figment of the Tories imagination."

"Zeb you are more intelligent than going along with the media circus‚Ķ.the blues are shit cսnt liars and the reds are just plain shit‚Ķ..this is the media now taking hyperbole from the side they want out and calling it lies‚Ķ..what you really need to be thinking is‚Ķ.ARE LABOURS TAX FIGURES REALLY GOING TO WORK FOR YOU‚Ķ‚Ķas this party politics distraction method is so tiring now‚Ķ..don‚Äôt you think, especially in a general election‚Ķ."

Rishi Sumak quits D-Day commemoration early to do a TV interview where he lies about telling lies. Stay classy.

"Haha, excellent work Nurse. I don't often agree with Mr Winstone but he is bang on the money with his comment earlier. Both the Labour and tory party's are so far removed from their traditional voters they may as well join forces, no one will notice the difference. Labour have become the Conservative b team and the tories are 'governing' in a way that would make any lefty smile."

Is it true that this £2000 figure that Sunak made up is over a 4 year period? I think Rishi didn’t make that 100% clear

"goose 9:05 Wed Jun 5 That is because the figures were extremely dubious having been made on assumptions made by Tory SPADS (who are paid by the party), duly collated by civil servants, then further fiddled by adding other stuf that wasn't costed by the Treasury because they did not bad enough and then quadrupled. Whe asked to sign them off the Chief Secretary refuses and then wrote a letter asking for them not be used as they were incrooect and misleading. It wasn't just the BBC either - even the Spectator rubbished them. Fraser Nelson also used the methodology.to examine the extra tax that will be raised because of the Tories' freeze on income tax and NI allowances over the same period which were published by the Treasury for the last budget. The answer £3,000"
