"daveyg - I noticed that as well, it was definitely Rice doing the pointing and talking to Moyes who was just listening, it did look like Rice was telling him what they were going to do."

"Willtell, If you are correct then fair play but if he had announced it to the whole squad (And back room staff) that he was leaving at the end of the season there is no way it wouldn't have been picked up by all the major outlets and been a big story by now. There is a strong likelihood that he will go at the end of the season but I can't imagine he has already told the players that at such a crucial part of the season."

"Will That's correct. I've already stated that several times too. It was quite clear Rice was telling Moyes what the players were going to do,several times the camera pointed to this. Moyes looked baffled and unsure but he had little choice at 2-0 down and a heavy defeat with the sack looming. The longer Moyes is here the more damage he will do to everyone including himself. This made me laugh.. https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2023/apr/18/david-squires-on-arsenal-title-trip-and-tottenham-travails"

"I hear things from time to time from a friend that has contact with one of WH's Board member. It only happens when it's something that's worth mentioning like Moyes and Sullivan having agreed that Moyes will leave at season's end. I only read the Daily Mail story this morning via BBC Football Gossip and not before. It also ran in the Times today I believe and C&H have also carried the story further so I think what I heard seems to have been accurate. However, I think I'll not bother with any info again."

"To be fair to Willtell, he's pretty much adopting the spin that C&H put on it."

"Well there's a surprise. Just like how someone ""told him""ù Moyes was leaving in the summer. He read it somewhere like the Daily Mail."

"That Paqueta interview is nothing like Willtell is making out, as if the the players just suddenly rebelled and ignored what they'd been told to do. This is what was actually said: ""Yeah, I think that's been hurting us a little bit. It is not the first time that we start the game and already concede one, sometimes two goals, which makes it very difficult for us. It changes the whole plan, our whole strategy. But then, very calmly, when the goal came, we managed to put our style of play, put pressure on Arsenal and managed to tie the match. We also had the chance to make a comeback, yes, it was an open game. But I believe it was a very important point. I think that after our goal, it gave us a little more confidence to press high, make their defenders give away the ball. So I think this change in attitude came through our goal. It gave us confidence and we started to realise on the pitch, ""òHey, we can press, you can steal the ball and we can mark'. So that's what we did.""ù"

No chance he gets a new contract in the summer. That's not how Sullivan has ever worked. But hopefully we'll have new owners (who again wouldn't be offering him a new contract) and they get their man in.

hilarious if this 'new approach' meant finishing the league strong and winning a trophy........... and Moyes getting a new contract.

"Soooo, allegedly according to that same YT channel that had the 'confessions of an insider' all about Moyes which we discussed at length, a source has confirmed to that guy that Moyes will depart at the end of the season, and in addition there's been agreement to play with less caution until then which the players are very happy with. Apparently he wants to win the trophy and end on a high rather than a low. Take that how you will. I'll be delighted if that's tru and it's what plays out. We play better and more positive, stay up, win the trophy, and then he graciously bows out in the summer. Not my opinion, I'm just summarising someone else's content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egmEPW_KW9E"

"Fiorentina are mid table in serie A. In and around the likes of Bologna, Sassuolo and Torino. Granted their form has been better of late, and maybe they can focus more on the european games but there's nothing to be feared there."

"LT - Well of course, why wouldn't you want to win it. Not so sure that we 'should' be winning it though, aren't Fiorentina top 6 in Serie A right now? We should make the final though."
