"David Ornstein from The Athletic broke the story last night, nothing from him today Just convenient that Fabrizio Romano denying the move today, probably pissed he never got the scoop so is eager to put the story down Probably suits all parties to keep quiet until the end of the seadon"

"Goose bit late to the party mate. Did you bring your tankard? Oh that’s right you’re Italian yours is a mug. As I already said looks like Tim is your new messiah, I wonder what ego will work at West Ham knowing that the new Messiah has more clout?"

"To be honest, if it's Tim Steigen making the recommendations and Sulli goes with it, I'd be happy to trust him."

"Adding Flick, Tuchel and Lopetegui to the list... 71% Ruben Amorim 58% Thomas Tuchel 57% Julen Lopetegui 53% Paulo Fonseca 50% Hansi Flick 50% Michael Carrick 48% Rafael Benitez 46% Marcelo Bielsa 44% Will Still 43% Graham Potter (43.35) 43% David Moyes (42.58)"

Tim held the meeting apparently and made the offer and “Fonseca or Lopetegui remain the most likely candidates”. https://www.claretandhugh.info/amorim-chase-aint-over-yet/

"Errie At least it's confirmation MOYSIE is fucking off. Yep, that's just as important news as Amorim potentially rocking up himself. It's finally getting done."

http://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-made-offer-amorim-alternative-wanting-sorting-early-may/ Offer also gone to Lopetegui as well as we wanted it sorted in the first few days of May https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-in-talks-with-ex-bayern-manager/ In talks with Flick who was apparently at one of our games. All looks like they are trying to get it sorted asap.

"Was always too good to be true. At least it's confirmation MOYSIE is fucking off. I've gone back and forth, but I'm now convinced that it's going to be Potter. Unattached, English, Premier League experience, likes to work in the DOF set up. Personally, I'm hoping it's Fonseca. Sexier football, sexier accent, sexier boat. I like the cut of his jib."

"I know stats are not everything, but they do provide some information. Interesting to see that, on that list, with the exception of Mark Noble who's never managed a team, Moyes has the lowest win% of all of them. 71% Ruben Amorim 53% Paulo Fonseca 50% Michael Carrick 48% Rafael Benitez 46% Marcelo Bielsa 44% Will Still 43% Graham Potter (43.35) 43% David Moyes (42.58)"

"I think some of the names mentioned could be exciting assuming they have a budget to improve the team. Amorim has a pretty impressive win% of over 70% in his career and Fonseca is at 53%. Fonseca said his approach is: ""an offensive play in order to overcome the opponent, to settle in the opponent's half and to create many scoring chances."" Which would mean that at least against Bristol City, Everton and the likes, we might actually play to our strengths instead of worry about theirs too much."
