"Sullivan has eyes and ears, he's not a complete idiot. He will know how the players and fans feel about Moyes. I doubt he's thrilled about our position having dropped £180m on new players, none of whom started today."

"The sad thing is that we really need to hope we just stay up rather than go on a run or stay up comfortably. I really can't see why Moyes would be kept on, the style of football is awful and we've gone backwards so much in such a short space of time."

I keep hearing that Moyes won't be here next season regardless of what happens this season but I what evidence is there to suggest that Sulli would sack him? DS has proved he can't be trusted to make these decisions so I expect if Moyes keeps us up he'll probably keep his job. Especially if we end up around 12th.

"Milk, that Bilic season brought back my love for the game. That was exactly what I wished for. They were dark years the Allardyce years but he never had backing like Moyes had to stink the place out."

"We stink the place out Pulis style and thenpeie start saying how he had one bad season at Everton and was then fantastic.I couldn't stomach anymore off this non passing, pressing, defensive based crap no more. 23% possession against a team without their talisman up top"

"I remember when everyone was calling for Allardyce to be sacked and seeing the comment from pundits ""be careful for what you wish for""ù. Did we wish for Moyes, I think lots did!üòÆ"

"This season under Moyes is worse than anything I ever saw under Allardyce. The attacking under Allardyce might have had all the subtlety of a sledgehammer but at least we did actually attack on occasion. Moyes is doing far less with a squad that is comparatively light years more talented and expensively assembled, even adjusting for inflation."

"I'd make em right, the standard of football is honestly the worse I've seen. It's Fat Sam standard stuff, I can't believe how bad we are at passing, I mean simple passing. We don't even do basics like pass & move, one of the easiest sides to win the ball back off. Criminal we're having to put up with this cos that cսnt has so badly mismanaged the squad"

I make all those comments 100% accurate. I struggle to think of a team worse than us and I've seen us play. Probably only forest at home.

"Was sat in the Fulham end today. Perspective of us from those around me: - zero skill - not even trying to play any football - done nothing at all - not even championship level football - worst team we've seen all season Of course I was smiling internally that we were winning and they were getting irate, but also pretty tough not to agree with the sentiment of their comments"

"What a dumbass I think having the two boys up front gave us a different look, but it was also a problem because we couldn't dominate the game, and that's why we had to defend so many shots etcetera, because we had so many players on the front line. We couldn't dominate the game even with 10 men behind the ball"

I'd still sack him tonight after blindly stumbling into a win more by luck than judgement this afternoon. We really didn't deserve it. If not today then immediately after the final whistle on Thursday irrespective of the result.

"ED A leopard doesn't change his spots which applies to Sullivan in this case . So what your saying regarding Ings that Moyes had no say in this transfer, what makes you think the Scamacca deal wasn't the same. And don't tell me Moyes said he was his choice, because if it was why did he not play him straight away. Reminds me of the Pardew not playing Tevez ."

"BFS was awful in his last job at WBA, time and modern football has left his style way behind. The same reason Moyes is now struggling"

Allardyce could just about eke out enough points from their remaining fixtures to keep them up. Would be a big if a worry if they got him in sharpish before it's too late for them. They are the only other team in the bottom half currently who haven't switched manager this season from what I read the other day.

"Let's not forget, in one of those wanky podcasts he was doing by the barrel load not long ago, Moyes admitted he turned down the chance to sign Julian Alvarez in January 2022 when we were absolutely desperate for a striker, with Antonio on his own. I suppose someone can find a way to blame Sullivan for that."
