"Overall I like The Chase enough to watch it if I'm staying somewhere with a TV, but it does have its annoying moments, mainly when the contestants give each other little encouraging pep talks and advice before they take on the Chaser. You get someone who answered 80% of their own questions wrong unitonically giving advice to others. Just seems contrived and silly to me. I like the one with the giant shove a'penny machine because it reminds me of the seaside. Ben Shepherd's ties bringing the drama."

"Mallard, I love the format of it. Far better than some of the others, with convoluted build ups taking ages, only for some div to guess that Cyprus is an Italian island. The questions are about the right level, plus they don’t have a plethora of questions about Lord of the tucking rings or Harry Potter. And what is it with contestants, when faced with ANY question say “I don’t know, I’ve not been there”. The Vatican in Rome, is famous for housing who? I don’t know, I’ve not been to Italy."
