JL apparently likes attacking full backs. We make an offer for the BM full back who is an attacking full back. That doesn't work out and we turn our attention to AWB who is primarily a defensive full back... where is the logic there?

Understood that AWB had rejected us Why are we persisting? His reputation is as a very good one on one defender but with no attacking game whatsoever I'd prefer a 21yo European player to compete with Coufal and with Junior Robinson developing behind them

Lee Trundle 3:27 Tue Jul 30 Not sure. Here's his scouting report. I know he was regarded as Almiera's stand out player in a tough season that ended in relegation from La Liga. And at 21 he is experienced. I think he may be more of an attacking threat than AWB. Bu t will be difficult with Roma and Newcastle sniffing around.

AWB is definitely not a shit defender. As an attacking threat. Different story. I’d prefer KWP but would be happy with either.

It’s not really scattergun is it? If you take the AWB at Palace they are all exactly the same. All get up the line and put crosses in. He never really got start at Man Utd.
