Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Mad Dog No.6 went to the same school as me, a year below, I vaguely remember him although never been a big fan. I remember from a few years back on Friends Reunited there were people I knew at school seemed to go to his gigs, don't know if he still going strong, but not on the box now."

"I must admit I thought the Waltz would have been Austria. But the source for my answer was a site specifically for dancing. 20 Amazing Dances from around the World which said ""One of the most romantic dances till date, Waltz is one of the most popular Ballroom dances and is also considered by some as the ‘Mother of all present dances’. Originated in Germany, this pleasantly flowing dance gradually escalated to one of the most popular dances all over Europe and USA. "" Having thought about it there is clearly a difference between the Waltz and a Viennese Waltz, different dances in competition. So unless someone has more definitive evidence I am sticking with Germany. VAR doesn't always give the right decision!"

Wikipedia says Austria for Waltzing... Maybe other sources say Germany... I will stand by Quizmaster’s decision...
