"Looks like a few people's favourite a little while ago to manage West Ham, Patrick Vieira, is one game from the sack as the board are very worried about getting dragged further in to the relegation scrap. Absolute charlatan of a manager, they should have stuck with Woy, done a far better job and spent absolute peanuts in comparison."

"I'm not even sure Moyes gets sacked if we are relegated. If the logic they are using now is ""Moyes is the type of person to get us out of a mess like this"", then why wouldn't they keep him? The club have broken every logical rule in keeping this guy. There is no actual footballing or business reason as to why Moyes is still manager at the club. I think it's more likely he is sacked for just about staying up than being relegated. Sounds weird."

"There are more immediate issues to deal with - like staying up and dealing with Moyes (and the broader ownership of the club) potentially before the end of the season. But the one thing that will absolutely NOT happen is Moyes staying if we are relegated. That's when the likes of Claret&Hugh just don't stop and think rationally. Of course Sullivan and his team have to make noises in support of Moyes at this point: he's still under contract. But even deluded Sullivan would let Moyes go if we are relegated. The idea that any owner - even Sullivan - would tolerate the fans discontent if/when that happens is simply not realistic. Imagine how toxic this place would be IF we are relegated? It's bad enough now, but it has yet to fully spill over into the stadium. That might happen soon - and it will certainly (100%) happen if we go down and keep the guy who spent almost £200m and got us relegated. If we are relegated, Moyes is 100% gone. But it shouldn't take a relegation for us to move on from him."

"2022-23 season stats for West Ham under Moyes: Overall: P38 W17 D6 L16 44. Win percentage: 44.65% Premier League: P25 W6 D5 L14. Win percentage: 24.00% This sums up quite how much the Europa Conference League is masking our league form this season, as our season stats in that are P9 W9."

"We've been 2nd favourites pretty much throughout the Conference League. You'd expect us to reach the final based on that. I wouldn't be crowing too much about a quarter final appearance in it just yet, if I were Moyes."

When Moyes talks so much shit why doesn't a reporter just ask him how much his squad is worth vs the opposition? The delusion.. Maybe the whole season he's been secretly filming a WHU version of Spinal Tap??

"Predictably, Moyes is banging on about 9 straight wins in Europe and the chance of getting to back to back Quarter finals - not many players and managers enjoy that level of success. ""It's a great thrill to be involved at this level "" This guy is a fucking prick and I can't even stand the sight of his name now. cսnt."

"Moyes is a fucking charlatan, or just completely deluded. The shit that comes out of him. We best a pub team from Cyprus. You watch what happens on Sunday against Villa. After a routine defeat or maybe a point snatched from the jaws of victory the cսnt will still be banging on about Europe and ignoring the very apparent reality of relegation. He is taking us down and don't imagine for a moment we will win the fucking Intertoto/conference/isthmian tinpot cup either because he has never won a thing in his life and he won't ever break that duck. Sack the cսnt now."

Incredible really that BT3 announced that the possession stats were exactly 50/50 with 10 minutes to go. I think that means we had less possession than a team from Cyprus! OK. It's always harder to perform well against weak sides but our play is seriously lacking in the tactical play department. Seriously lacking. So this morning I read that Moyes will be with us next season too even if we get relegated according to C&H. Sullivan and Lady Brady obviously hate their customers and clearly love to see them suffer!

I believe the only English team to lose against a Cypriot team was Spurs against Anorthosis Famagusta but they won on aggregate

Who'll be at West Ham longer (assuming we survive)? Moyes or Scamacca?

"Decent win last night, but any Premier League side should beat a Cypriot team in this tournament. I'm not going to take a pop at the players winning in Europe. They're doing a decent job. Moyes is our biggest current problem (a reflection of broader ownership issues). Back to the reality of our struggles on Sunday."

"Bored stiff watching the game last night. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're 2-0 up and looking likely to go through, but the boring cսnt and his boring football can fuck off."

"Far Cough Antonio is not the brightest tool in the box , And if I was Moyes I wouldn't even pick him due to his antics trying to get a move in January. He has been crap for months and would struggle to get into any other Premiership side."

Sir Alf . Pretty sure it was reg Pratt in 78 len cearns 89 . Martin cearns 92 uncle Terry 03 . It would be at least GSBs 6th relegation. Had to laugh in 2011 when gold said we're good getting at clubs promoted . There even better at going the other way .

"David Moyes believes it would be ""a great achievement"" if West Ham could reach a European quarter-final for the second successive year These are the sort of headlines used to solidify keeping him as manager. The poor form will be overlooked if we make it through to the next round and consolidated with the previous seasons success. Us fans will be told ""why are you moaning you've not had this level of success in a long time"" The MSM will be all over this and have a Moyes love in."

"LJC 2:36 Thu Mar 9 Agree, all those names would do a better job right now. Sullivan will get an award for the owner that has overseen more relegations. I think he may equal Brown or the Cearns who both have 2 ? Who were owners 1978, 1988, 1991, 2002 ? 2011 and 2023 all down to Sullivan and his ""next level""ù ownership promises."

"I don't get this short term deal thing. There are some good out of work managers who would jump at the chance and you would back them if we stayed up or if we went down, trust them to get us back up. If the right person is out there then give them a two year deal and a long term strategy for scenario a or b. Gallardo Bielsa Favre I would even welcome AVB"
