"May I also recommend The Americans, it's one of my all time favourite series. It's about a a pair of Russian spies living as a married American Couple in the USA during the 80's. It was created by a former FBI agent who worked in counter intelligence and whilst it isn't based on a true story it's considered to be extremely realistic in certain areas. It's brilliant and is just as much about the pairs relationship as it is about their work. The acting is superb as is the writing and production. All six seasons are on Disney + and it's finale is considered one of the best of all time."

"Hairy Definitely Luther as I haven't watched The Wire. Ruth Wilson brilliant and I love the Sussex coast scenes. Saw them filming it there years ago. Currently watching ""The Little Drummer Girl "" Gritty adaptation of John LeCarre novel. Florence Pugh,Michael Shannon and Alexander Skarsgard are all brilliant. Worth watching twice as there's quite a bit to it"

"Anyone made it to the end of Manifest. Got to the end of season 1. Tbh its OK but given there are 4 seasons I'm wondering how long they can drag the main plot on for before you actually find out why what happened, happened (hopefully that makes sense to those that have watched it). Is it worth perceiving with?"

"bell - Yea, I'll come and wipe your arse first though, son. Btw, Hijack is from Apple, it's a good watch if you haven't seen it. Billy - No I don't. I saw a little of the Stephen Hendry and BFS one but got bored. Podcasts are not really my thing for some reason."

"May I recommend, Evil on Sky/NowTV I saw a review of it saying its the best series you'd never heard of. Its excellent, sort of a cross between X Files and the Exorcist. Very quirky, it straddles a line between being creepy and barking mad. There are times when it is serious and occasionally quite moving, and others when it is laugh out loud funny. The writers are very clever and are obviously having a whale of a time and the cast are excellent, especially the lead actress. I highly recommend it, its fun and clever. Youre welcome!"

"Finished Hijack - Enjoyable, no doubt, but as said a ridiculous motive and plot holes and loose ends galore, but good TV for sure. I really like Maskell, but don't think this role suited him, was from convincing as the chief hijacker, Elba was OK."

"O1BB If you enjoyed the very Canadian humour that is Schitz's Creek, I can recommend Corner Gas. Similar humour without the slightly annoying amounts of gay."

We recently finished Unforgotten season 2. Staring Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Excellent storytelling and thought it was much better than season 1. It's an ITV series....I downloaded it so didn't have to suffer the adverts.

The first series of Top Boy was directed by Londoner Yann Demange. He made the film ‘71 not long after and it looked like his career was about to explode but it didnt. Shame. Anyway he made a series called Lovecraft County in 2020. Anyone seen it? Any good?
