The woman refereeing England's game tonight so much better than most refs I've seen officiating our games. It's actually quite a simple sport to officiate - much easier than rugby or Amerixan football but English male refs seem to be incompetent. Agree male European refs are much better too.

The only qualification i can see to be a PGMOL ref is that you come from the north west and give decisions to Liverpool and Manchester United. The girl that runs the line in some premier games shows most of them tossers up

I think we need more of them a) they cannot be any worse than the current shower of shit b) women tend to be less egotistical c) I think players would show them more respect

"English referees seem to have a general arrogance, massive look-at-me egos & seemingly no relationship with players. As a generalisation I'd expect women referees would have less of the first two and would just get on with the game."

Maybe it's because the players show more respect to a female and don't want to be seen cunting her off.

The standard of refereeing has improved since Brexit.
