"Anyone watching Bojo currently giving evidence to the COVID enquiry ? Fuck me, how did we ever get through anything with this idiot in charge The overwhelming evidence given about how incompetent he was during that period is quite remarkable"

"BRANDED 9:07 Mon Dec 18 No shit. Thanks for posting. None of us knew that already, not even me who's auntie Maureen went into hospital with circulation problems in her legs and died of Covid a week later. Or my beloved neighbour Johnny Murphy who went into hospital because of a small problem with his heart and died of covid a week later. ...or another of my neighbours who went into hospital with...you get the picture."

So. Also back to the subject. My mother in law had to succumb to going into a care home after a bad fall and subsequent damage in June. Her daughters managed to keep seeing her throughout all lock downs and restrictions and never adhered to any of the rules. Obviously she stayed happy and fit as a fiddle. After five months in a care home she’s caught a bad cold and now has covid. Hospitals and care homes really are places of disease vector.

"I reckon the result of the enquiry is that it was ""Just one of those things"", and that ""We should all quickly forget it and move on""."

"BRANDED 1:41 Wed Dec 13 You clearly haven't dined on our wonderful faggots & peas. Though judging by your posts you've clearly enjoyed a faggot or three in your time. Generalising about a nation is the laziness in this instance. The figures for obesity in England and Wales are almost identical, and there are far less employment opportunities in Wales than there is in England."

"EVERYTHING in Wales is shit except the seaside and countryside. The Welsh just demand more and more English tax money to keep their overweight, lazy citizens alive. The sons and daughters of really hard working people have become shameful."

Imagine the hoo-ha that would arise should the NHS have to throw away millions of vaccine doses (and taxpayer pounds) should they remain unused past their sell-by date. Someone could well miss out on a bonus target or even a gong! Surely nothing is worth taking such a risk!

Mike Oxsaw 9:15 Thu Dec 7 Exactly. I've said this before. The people that wouldn't accept the result of the referendum are the same people moaning about Johnson. If they'd accepted the result he wouldn't have been PM. End of. But they refused to accept the result of the referendum and they also refuse to accept that they are mainly the reason why he was PM.
