"Despite him being unbelievably dogshit, I bet he does. It’s a joke how poor he’s been today. Imagine being that bad Moyes actually hooks you at half time."

"Don't really get the Maguire never let's england down bollocks. Both goals against France in the world cup were his fault, or do we just mean he never let's england down when playing against shit opposition who won't score anyway?"

"Does Maguire get games for Man United? I don’t watch them to know if he has any form, but I’ve head all the whinging about Rashford and how shit he is and still gets picked. Where’s the incentive to improve for certain players if they can fart arse around for their club and walk into the national team?"

"Phillips had to go and I can't believe Henderson is in. As for McGuire, there are not many other options at centre half. And to be honest he doesn't let England down. Didn't he get into the Best XI at the last world cup? Had 3 good tournaments for us and experience is important with a few youngsters in the squad."

"Palmer has to go given age and potential. Chelsea were smart there and I think this was a mistake by Pep to let him go, however it’s admirable for him to be honest with the player and tell him his chances would be limited. I bet Bowen misses out which would be very unfair."

I don't think Phillips will start tonight.

"Yes I know and agree, but at least waistcoat has now righted a wrong. Sterling is finished too. Fella has so many options that he has to win the thing, but sure he knows that."

"I wouldn't be picking him! I wouldn't even be picking him for us, even the subs bench. I see absolutely no point I him being with us. It meant it was laughable with him being picked in November when he wasn't even playing."

"Lee - Maybe laughable, but it would have been even more laughable had he continued to select the fraud. Hopefully Palmer will be in. I saw a report just today saying that waistcoat doesn't rate Maddison?"

"Quite a few reports coming out to say he's definitely been dropped from the squad. Doesn't play any football and was called up in November. Plays a few games and now gets dropped. Laughable from WAISTCOAT, really."

"I'm of the opinion the bloke should never have got a single cap, though maybe that shows how poor we'd been in that position for a while until ddclan came along. Like all the time when parker didn't get a look in even though he was twice the player Henderson was. Hardly a surprise that England suddenly became good when they finally had a world class DM in there protecting some ropey CB's. Nothing makes a difference anyway so long as englajd have one of the worst managers in world football. Great coach at getting a squad together team spirit wise, but not rocker science why he has failed in every other job, bloke is a clown who's more negative than moyes even though we have some unreal attacking talent. Not watched a game since 2022 and doubt I'll bother this summer."

"The lobbying has been going on for a while, but this kinda confirms to me that Bowen ain’t getting picked for the euros: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/68549005 Bowen is mentioned as an afterthought and his competition is Kane and Watkins upfront. Considering we pretty much how we will set up, Bowen is the perfect backup to Saka on the right, in my opinion"

"Russ of the BML 2:19 Tue Mar 12 Don't leave out the part that Italy were shitting themselves so bad after the first goal went in they could barely complete a pass, and Southgate had the team stand off them until they settled back into the game. Then he hooked declan rice for henderson, leaving phillips on as well. One of the most poorly managed games I've ever witnessed."

"With Foden, Bellingham, Rice, Kane I think England are maybe second favourites behind France and capable of beating them The usual major European powers ... Spain, Germany, Italy ... are all off their traditional levels. Englands potential problems are : Gareth Moyesgate as manager Reliance on H Maguire Reliance on the scatty Pickford"

Manny I agree. If Bellingham stays fit then England will go close.

I reckon Southgate is the boring type that gets players up for qualifying because it's small doses. The moment they are in his company for a tournament they switch off listening to him...

"dealcanvey 12:28 Tue Mar 12 Southgate reminds me of Moyes too. Safety first fucking ambitionless loser. I still look at the Italy game and still cannot believe Southgate reverted to defending a 1-0 lead against a team that did not have an abundance of goals, nor did they have pace at the back. He allowed them back into it. That's because hs is a fucking loser."

"Suprised how disappointing Phillips has been, ordinary with mistakes, are we to critical because of his lack of match play?"
