As is the natural order of things, there comes a time when our oldest and most loyal supporters are no longer able to attend matches. We cannot think of a time when it was anything other than the norm that their place would be taken by younger members of their family and friends, children and grandchildren, and thus new generations would continue the tradition of supporting West Ham. That's the natural progression. The way it has always been and always should be. However, the Club has taken a wrecking ball to this tradition. From now on, families and friends in bands 1-4 who would like to transfer a season ticket to a new, young supporter (who would normally be offered a concession rate) will no longer be able to do this. Instead, the new concession rate season ticket would only be available in bands 5 and 6 which will see the disintegration of families' and friends' groups supporting West Ham together. There is no doubt some new fans will not take up a season ticket and West Ham United will potentially lose a new generation of supporters. It should be noted that before announcing its decision to press ahead with these changes, the Club did not consult the ISC, which represents many thousands of West Ham fans. There are plenty of progressive ideas and solutions which could have been discussed and we are sure that a fair and equitable compromise could have been reached. Instead, the Club chose to ignore its responsibility to consult and engage meaningfully with the ISC. By ""sheer coincidence"" it transpires that most Premier League clubs are heading down the same route of inflation busting price increases and the removal of concessions from higher priced seat bands. Hammers United became aware of this worrying trend having attended an FSA meeting of Premier League fans groups - it's happening all over! Far be it from Hammers United, or any of the other fans' groups, to suggest that there has been some form of collusion between the clubs who may well see a financial benefit in losing ""traditional"" fans in favour of the eye-watering revenue that tourists and hospitality attendees generate on a game by game basis, but it does raise some very serious questions about where all of this might be heading. Among fans up and down the land there is a clear appetite for co-ordinated and sustained protests against the actions being taken by Premier League clubs and Hammers United will play its part. "Huffers is right. Just found this on the ticketing page. C&P For the 2024-25 pricing strategy, Bands 1, Bands 2, Bands 3, Bands 4 will be sold to new season ticket holders at standard adult prices. Whilst anyone of any age can secure a season ticket in these bands, concession pricing is only available in these price bands for existing season ticket holders. Also this: C&P The club will continue to review concessionary pricing throughout the 2024-25 season. Keeping their options open?"

"Exactly that, our BAND 1 is comparable to other BAND 1, however, their BAND 1 is BAND 1 and ours is a BAND 3! Cunts!"

The revenue from season tickets and gate receipts nowadays pales into insignificance to the TV money. It would be good to see some additional concessions to long term and loyal season ticket holders who actually attend in person.every game. I regularly pick up resale tickets among season ticket holders in band 4 to be told by those around me the holder doesn't bother much anymore same as the fella three down (vacant) etc etc Don't get me wrong I'm grateful to pick up the ticket but seems there is a always plenty of ST holders missing particularly for the lesser games. I do however think the ST prices are fairly reasonable compared to other London PL clubs albeit in a stadium that is not designed for football.

"I believe the club will not accept new season ticket holders in that band, I imagine that's if current ones renew? As for HU and all fan groups - great to see intentions but I don't think any of them will achieve anything notable. Directors working in a businesses worth billions aren't going to listen to anything the customers have to say about the running of their business all the while there is a line of replacements in place. They may well make out like they do and accept a couple of token suggestions such as wristbands for kids, but that'll be your lot."

"I've just had a look at band 3 prices for next season. Adult is £790, Over 66/under 21 is £395, Under 18 is £190. A new young supporter will pay ten quid a game. So what is the problem?"

It would be great if all the premiership and football clubs in general had a day of protest .

If this is an effort to separate families with young children from adult supporters then I'm in favour of having the kids sitting together with their parents at the back of the upper tier. The over 66 discount should apply in all areas.

I wonder if that includes existing season ticket OAPs that wish to move seats to an other area but same band or higher.

I know people that sometimes can't make games and transfer their ST for the day to younger family members?"
