Wouldn't be a huge surprise to me if Juve take a punt on Di Zerbi. They sacked Allegri after a day after they won the Coppa Italia for him going apeshit during the game and wanting to fight everyone. Di Zerbi is cool and calm and calculated. He has proven he can play a good positive and expansive style. Juve want to go in a different direction. Could well be a good match.

"Hell of a way to have your chips pissed on if you are an Ipswich fan Progressive young manager brings you up through 2 divisions & you are looking forward to having a go at Premier league teams Then told he is off and Low Block Dave is turning up to show you a bit of 25% possession, 2 goals a game conceding football"

"I really don't see Man Utd going for De Zerbi, seems a bit of a complex character fall out with people etc, actually think they might give Ten Haag a bit more time, may even depend how the cup final goes."

I’ll be shocked if Brighton let De Zebri go to ManU for sweet FA.? Going back to Italy. No problem. Going to another Premiership side.? Ain’t happening.

De Zebri is waiting for his new job to come up after the Cup Final.

"I reckon Moyes is holding on till hopefully Dyche fucks up so he can come in and SAVE another Club he used to manage, as he loves to gi back to old Clubs of his. He'll like the idea of guiding them through a tricky period and settling in time at their new stadium that's crippled them. I think that's what would interest him that's realistic in the Premier League."

"If Ipswich need a manager to organise the defence to make them hard to beat, why would they pick a manager who has conceded 74 goals in 38 games, and conceded 4+ goals in over 5 of those games."

"There's zero chance he's going to either of those. He'll end up in the Scottish national job, or be picking up huge wages ""specialising"" in attempting to bail out a crappy Premier League team when their in the relegation zone."

I would be absolutely staggered if Ipswich or Brighton go for Moyes....

"wd40 11:15 Sun May 19 Nothing to do with Moyes. It's to do with the media and their treatment of West Ham fans. As others have said, we get told we are out of order for wanting Moyes out and that he is such a great manager and we should be grateful. Well, why are the media not jumping to Moyes going to Brighton? If Moyes was apparently so good for West Ham then why is he not good enough for Brighton? I know the answer why but I won't bother spelling it out."

Ipswitch will need some brilliant coaching and be strong defensively to stand a chance of staying up Why on earth would they go for Moyes?

"""Surely Ipswich will be all over Moyes should Mckenna go to Brighton"" Ipswich could do worse, they'll have to show some defensive grit to hang in there in the PL. He won't tear up any trees, but staying up next season, dogshit football or not, is the aim of newly promoted club. He may be able to deliver them that."

Surely Ipswich will be all over Moyes should Mckenna go to Brighton. https://talksport.com/football/1874983/rob-edwards-next-ipswich-boss-kieran-mckenna/?utm_source=fb-image&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=no Both Brighton and Ipswich clearly haven't got the memo to be careful what they wish for not going for the Moyesiah.

"LJC small club mate who keep selling their best players, can't keep doing that Brentford will probably be down in 2 seasons On the prediction thread beginning of season l said we would finish above Brighton,Brentford and Fulham when most of you lot said we would struggle or go down We still had better European campaign than Brighton and only got ko by best Team in world at mo"

"""We got beat by the first decent team we played."" to be fair they just won the Bundesliga by 17 points and are in the final. Agree with others, we've spent a small fortune to be mid table. When you think Arsenal weren't that much better than us a few seasons back, I think its all down to decent stewardship and we haven't had in a long, long time."

Joyo. On what basis do you think Brighton will go down in 3 seasons?

No player worth their salt is coming to us from Brighton. Every team in the Premiership are trying too emulate Brighton. Even the Sky Six. A player who currently plays for Brighton is telling everybody else. I’m ambitious and talented to play at the very best clubs on the planet.

"As always context is everything. We’ve spent c£225m more than Brighton to assemble a squad which is 4 points and 1 place ahead of them as of today. Our squad cost double theirs, you may as well be comparing us with arsenal. As for Europe, they beat Marseille, Ajax and Roma. We got beat by the first decent team we played."

Brighton were criticised for not attacking much v Man City but they had Ferguson & Mitoma missing & rested Adingra as he had been playing a lot They did seem to have a lot of injuries which contributed to them dropping off Ferguson will be interesting bigger clubs than us unfortunately
