Zebthecat In my pubescent years I had a bit of a thing for Pam Ayres (I think it was the voice) Jackie Haines from crimewatch also (the voice and the uniform) I guess I should of married a policewoman who wrote poetry.

""" and I mean that folks, most sincerely "" Opportunity Knocks & New Faces were proper talent shows not like the shit we have on today where they just have "" talent "" on who have already got established careers. The talent from the 70s were all doing other jobs and just performed at working mens clubs."

I have a MARE who went to a private school in the 70’s who was the son of a famous entertainer who had a lift to school by Hughie Green in his Rolls Royce. He got beaten up.

Opportunity Knocks was compulsive viewing in our family in the 70s. Funnily enough we were talking about it last night... far better than Britain's Got Talent (in my memory anyway).
