Why should the club have to explain itself to someone who lives on another continent about an employee of theirs that has contributed more than the questioner ever could?

I'd say it's fairly obvious that a job was just made up for him, but I'm glad he's still at the club, he's a figurehead, example, when he was representing the club at the European draws in France in recent years, a bit like a modern day Trevor Brooking and he looks good in a suit.
