Bloody Spurs

What is it about Spurs that they get the main TV slot
every bloody week?

Even though they are playing the type of football we can only dream about, it still doesn't seem fair.  Perhaps a media bias ?

I hope Brighton smash them. A place very close to my heart ❤️ 👍

Why not?

Two of their three European trophies were the 3rd tier competition at the time.

And they bombed out of the Conference League in the group stage the year before we won the whole thing.

Hardly call a 3rd tier european cup as a major trophy to hold over Spurs

The governing body in Australia is called Football Australia
Most reputable media outlets call it Football while referring to the Australian football game as AFL (Australian Rules Football)

Of course Postecoglou was born in Greece
Pretty sure they call the round ball game Football

It's probably a young mans game nowadays.
Yeah but the difference between Lopetegui and Postenoclue is that Fat Ange is 1 Doner meat and chips away from getting a coronary. Seriously, the geezer looks ill and it's probably more odds on for him to suffer a heart attack on the touchline than to ever give out any worthwhile instructions to his players.

You just can't have a football manager at this level who comes from a country that calls football soccer. Bot keep up the good work Ange.

A typical Aussie really, a bit of a twat with some aggression thrown in.

Maybe Noble should give them a pep talk before the game.
I actually fancy our chances!

If that's what they do with it, they are more than welcome to have them all until the end of the Season. 🤣

Simple people on here making reference to the shonkers not winning the league or FA Cup for years. We’ve never won the league and they’ve won the FA cup more recently than we have.
Fucking simpletons

Always used to hate it when Allardyce would slump back in his seat when we were losing.
Postecogolou does seem to stand there showing no reaction as though he is trying to remember whether he packed 2 or 3 kebabs in his bag for the trip home.
When it started to go against them they lost their heads and had no reaction
But never mind Micky Van Der Venn can run fast

Fat Ange would drive me potty if I had the misfortune to be a Spurs supporter, as he's about as animated on the touchline as one of Rolf Harris flick book cartoons whenever a little boy or Copper suddenly entered a room. Completely motionless, frozen to the spot looking like a rabbit caught in headlights.

He clearly manages by way of organising a side building up to a game, holds a Team talk pre-game and obviously another one at Half-time giving instruction. But during the games itself? Absolutely fuck all which screams lacking the ability to motivate a Team and give out useful instruction during 90 minutes to inspire and advise throughout when it's not quite going right. And they wonder why they struggle so much to adapt during games as well..

At least with Lopetegui we have a passionate animated Manager who doesn't stop barking orders from the touchline and gesticulating orders just as much as many of us do from the Stands. Sure, you don't want a looney argumentative manager who's always spoiling for a fight on the touchline offering little else in motivation or worthwhile instruction but you do need one to get the Team going positively and identify problems when they occur. And the best example I could give, which I touched on in another thread was when the Team were standing off Ipswich at times, he would wave frantically and encourage the Team to push up and get forward to pressurise them into making mistakes and lo and behold the mistakes ended up happening regularly once we did press them high up the pitch leading to some of our goals and efforts at goal. I'll have that style of management all day long over the gormless Greek aussie who does a better impression of a Greek statue than a Greek statue itself.

Mate.

big ange mate on whether he should have made subs earlier:
All these things are totally irrelevant to me, substitutions and all those kind of things.

If you're not competitive, it doesn't matter what you do, you don't deserve to win, we didn't deserve to win based on our second half performance; irrespective of subs or anything else and I think if you do get something out of the game, then you're falsely rewarded and I don't want to get falsely rewarded
i wouldn't want spurs to be falsely rewarded either, but that's mostly because i support west ham rather than manage spurs, but glad we see eye to eye on it.
