The first 2 albums were absolute belters. Was listening to 'Remember tomorrow' The other day 

66 was no age really saw some footage of him playing and singing in a wheel chair, he looked  knackered

Sad to hear this. Been living off what happened 45 years ago for a long time, but sad to see someone on such a long downward spiral.

Many still say those first two Maiden albums were never bettered. Became a different band afterwards, but those two were standouts.

I would still put Phantom as my personal number 1 Maiden song.

 

sad one. bloke's been paying off a debt to his youth for as long as i can remember.

got two monster albums out of it. murders in the rue morgue and phantom of the opera are still two of their best songs.

What a real shame. Those first two Iron Maiden albums are excellent
