Been fighting Alzheimers for a few years.
Got early memories of watching Ipswich in the 70,s, they had a great team back then and a top Div 1 side under Bobby Robson, Whymark was a top goal scorer. RIP

There was some old footage of him scoring against Norwich and running along in front of the Norwich fans giving it the big two fingers (being in Norfolk i guess he should of given it 3)
It reminded me of Billy Shitehurst at Upton park playing for Sheffield united slowly walking backwards from the northbank giving us the wanker gesture all the way to the halfway line
RIP
Yeah very naughty of Whitehurst but at least he could back it up if he had to.

Some of that great Ipswich side along with our Bobby, Pele, and Sly Stallone were in that film Escape to Victory.
RIP Trevor Whymark.

I think a good few of that famous Ipswich side/era have passed now.
Looked around a 1 in 3 striker, and was a one cap wonder.
RIP.

Decent player. Not deserving of a splat.
