Sad passing of Ian Collins (666)

I've been asked by Paula, (aka Squeaky) to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of her partner, Ian, who many of you may remember as 666.
Ian was a familiar face at home and away games before the stadium move. He was also an active member of the forum community a few years back.
He passed away last Wednesday, November 13th after battling MND for the past few years.
Despite his tough exterior and mischievous nature, Ian had a heart of gold. I recall on away games he would hear of West Ham fans without a room for the night and offer them to share his hotel room, often smuggling in 6 or 7 strangers and never asking for anything in return. He had a very protective nature and would ensure he was a deterring presence during tense interactions with any rival supporters.
A great friend and huge West Ham fan - he will be missed.
