Newcastle next Monday

Yes, Monday ffs!
First of all, anyone travelling up there probably needs sectioning, unless you are making a weekend of it.
Does anyone have any hope of getting anything other than a jolly old spanking, and could Loppy be shown the door if it is a spanking and it looks like he has lost the dressing room? Maybe leave him up there? At least it's better than Wigan.

What a quality performance by every one to a man. About fuckin time. Kept going and focused the whole game. Let’s carry it on now.
And hats off to the lot that went up there (including no.1 son). Superb support as usual.

I hope Leonard Hatred managed to get hold of a ticket in the end and treated to that performances tonight.
So happy for all the travelling faithful going all the way up there on a cunting Monday night.

Full marks to all those who went up to Newcastle tonight and full marks to the Manager and the Team. Didn't expect much but was really pleased to be proved wrong. Watched on Sky and it was great to see the likes of all the pundits proved wrong even though the main presenter( whose name I don't know or care to know) was still crying about the penalty that wasn't when he signed off

Under Moyes this is one of those games where we might dig in, ride our luck and get something after fully expecting to lose
Yep. I agree. There was always a possibility of a win at any game with Moyes. And the more likely possibility of a pasting to be fair. But under Lop there is little hope. We all know what's coming and I say that as one of the poor sods travelling up there.
Although their defence is weakened so it could be a high scoring defeat rather than a one sided annihilation. Maybe a 3-4 loss?

Just seems an obvious 3-0 defeat where we don't really lay a glove. See some fans travelling up there yesterday and thought you poor bastards
The feeling of certain doom and despair come 10 clock tonight is just as bad if not worse than times last year under Moyes
It's hard to get invested until the manager goes, it won't get better so just got to prolong the pain until the dildo dwarf realises he has to go

Stranger things have happened, but I really think this could be a bit of a pasting.
3-0 bars

Obviously want us to win but can't see it, but you never know!
If we lose i just hope it's not for nothing, in that it's the final straw for the board and we get rid of the Spanish fraud, but like the win, i can't really see it, but you never know!
Gone from giving him time to settle and getting used to new faces and them playing new system, to now running out of patience as he still doesn't seem to know himself what his best line up is or in some case how to deploy our talent to get the best from them, after 14/15 games (including cups) in charge we should have made progress, lucky in some ways to be on 12 points if im honest!

Let's get this out the way first, but I watched the first half of Arsenal vs Forest on Saturday and some of Arsenal's football was sublime. We are going to be playing them at the wrong time now they are coming out of their little bump and have the Norwegian back. I see another one of them humiliating home losses with empty white seats with 20 mins left.

I might try and get a spare ticket for this game.
I live in Sunderland.
I'd imagine there must be quite a few people who've bought tickets then decided they can't be arsed with it.
It'll be BASTARD cold
Ambush em (hornchurch ) at Trowell services BEFORE they've had time to order

Ox - We have another two Mon night games over the coming weeks, they're rancid.
Everyone to a man thinks we will lose, which is beginning to make me think we might get something. And have to say. I'm getting the impression that some want us to lose to hopefully expediate the hapless Spaniard's departure.
Only positive for me in that is, when I'm out in Thailand, they're on far too late for me to stay up and watch, meaning I get a surprise (or not) over Tuesday Breakfast*.
In all honesty/typical West Ham "innocence", I was expecting us to rack up 30 points by the end of the year.
30 points by the end of the season now looks equally challenging.
* - there's just got to be a porn star with that name.

We're already depressed over this, based on our performances so far and, although I'm pleased that real, rather than political, football is back I would rather have had this game as the early Saturday kick-off to get it out of the way and hope for some respite from other results; I've now got an extra 48 hours or so of unwanted anticipation.
I hope beyond hope that we can come away from the game with something more than just our heads held high, but can't see where that is coming from.

Some positive team news for us is Alvarez is back from suspension with only Kudus out for 2 more games and Fullkrug the only injury in the Squad.
More importantly Newcastle have big issues in defence missing Dan Burn through suspension, as well as no Botman, Krafth, Lascelles at Centre Half either through injuries. That leaves only Schar as a senior at Centre Half who turns 33 in a few weeks. They also miss Trippier who has been out which leaves 2 very inexperienced Full Backs and a depleted back line to attack.
Yeah, I wish we had their problems in defence. Alongside Schar they have the much sought after summer free transfer signing Lloyd Kelly and the 2 full backs who played the entire 90 minutes of England's last fixture. Nightmare for them
