I bet your life's dream would be to move out of your squat in an abandoned Upminster lock-up and live in a mud hut in a poverty stricken village near the Cambodian border.

Not too close to that border for you though because the Khmer have long memories and a long reach.

Buy a winter retreat in a warm country and move there for the cold spell.

Might I suggest somewhere like Syria?

Property there must be dirt cheap seeing as half the population is either already here or on their way over.

I, vigorously, wipe my cock over every square centimetre of every room. By the time I’ve done that I’m usually quite warm

I use Honeywell EvoHome. Thermostat per room with a centralised WiFi Controller.

Means you plug in what time of day and day of week each room gets used, and the central boiler only sends heat to those locstions at the designated times, so each room and if you want every single radiator becomes it's own 'zone' to be controlled individually.

Set it all up on timers from the app then can override it via app, Alexa, or directly in the thermostat in the room itself.

Probably my favourite smart home gadget. Undoubtedly saves money, and just makes so much sense. Means I can use central heating to heat my office without heating the whole upstairs or downstairs or whole house in general.

Means on school day, the lounge (which isn't used in the morning gets no heat until the evening but the kitchen is up to 20 by the time the kids come down for breakfast (as you say 'I want it at 20 degrees by 7.30am' and it learns how long it takes to heat, and sets the radiator on and heating at the time needed to heat it up to be at that temp by that time).

Great gadget. Had it in for 8 years now...must have saved me a fortune.

Google Nest. Saves me a fortune. Mainly becuase it works out if someone has left the heating turned up high and dials it down so it is not forgotten. But also it learns your habits.
