Don’t shoot the messenger as still TBC. Supposedly Antonio has had a crash in his Ferrari in Loughton, sounds fairly bad

Or just an off-the-cuff comment that he obviously wasn't serious about.

Anyone else spot the irony in Antonio's comments about giving Jarrod Bowen "an extra 7 months" to break his goalscoring record for West Ham? Despite having 4 & 1/2 years at the club before Bowen even joined?
Example of his self importance and arrogance.

New poster?
It's a Spurs troll from Hammers Chat that they used to refer to as numbers because everytime they banned him he opened a new numerical account, but you already knew that didn't you ladyferret.

Apparently Antonio is "full of himself" because of that cardboard cutout goal celebration, well according to that Spurs helmet anyway. Let's hope he gets a fat new contract if it means the aforementioned helmet fucks off for good?

If he comes on as a sub in the last game of the season and then retires in the summer, he'll be remembered as a bit of a west ham legend.
If he hangs around next season doing fuck all and picking up a big wage he'll be remembered as a bit of a prick.
Moyes should have grabbed the mic at Stratford town hall after europa and said it's been great, I'm going out on a high. He didn't and his legacy will be a bit tainted by the last season in the job.

There always seems to be a split opinion on here and elsewhere when old timers contracts are up and the debate is whether to give them another year or not, as we have seen recently with Cresswell, Ogbonna and Fabianski.
One side is they are old and past it, we ain't a charity etc, while the other is they could be handy to have around as cover, good to have in the dressing room, maybe help with the youngsters etc.
I've always been the former, but with Antonio if he can prove his fitness I'm thinking he's worth another year. Yea, probably a bit of an emotional view, but I'll go with that for now. Has Cresswell been worth another year? Hard to say imo. Talk that he'll get another year too.

I like Antonio but he can be an idiot sometimes ie his driving and podcast.
To say he hasn't been a great signing for us and not worth another contract is pathectic. Some of his goals have been valuable, especially when Payet was around.
But he has to prove he is worth it too. Ideal backup for a permanent wonder striker.
I didn't want Cresswell given another year but he's been steady and helped Scarles.
Hopefully Antonio can do the same with Ajala or Marshall.

I'm sure that the Gavifund can afford to lob in a few quid to help cover any new contract for him - I mean, it's not like anybody's died recently, is it?

If he get's a new contract out of some sort of emotion, I will be done with Football!
Let's hope he gets a bumper new deal then.
Perhaps you'll stop polluting this site

I've always felt an attachment to Mickey, not Macca or TC levels, but always liked him and put him up there as one of my favourite Hammers, certainly in recent years anyway. There is something a bit different to him than your average pro at this level, likeable and honest, and that probably comes through because he come from non league. Anyhow, just pleased he's still around. The playing thing, new contract or not, will sort itself out in time.

Full of himself, arrogant and real sense of entitlement.
Nothing of the sort. He is a great bloke and quite modest too, and most West Ham fans love him, but you are no West Ham fan are you.
