Dan Ashworth

Has just left Manchester United as their Sporting Director by ‘mutual consent.’ If our club was ever serious about breaking through the class ceiling, would onboarding someone like Dan Ashworth be shrewd business?
It’s not worked out for him at Manchester United, but he has an otherwise excellent CV and could be the bridge between the board and the technical director we need.

It’s on a par with the word ‘actioned’.
'Socalised' is the one that grinds my gears in the workplace. When did 'socialise' replace 'share' with reference to sharing information?
I guess it's another stupid YANK import.
CADENCE is my current pet peeve. It's the management speak word of the month at work. "We Need to establish a Cadence with our Clients" just like "The club have failed to find a cadence for success this season"

Agreed. We don't need to be onboarding a new director. Loppy and Sullivan are what ails us.

I once heard Eric Hitchmoe at the Coventry conference use that term.
